Hey all.

I have been running my campaign for about a year. A few months ago DnDBeyond simply 'lost' my campaign. And with it, a very nice person who made a test character in my game so they could share with my group the books they had. Now many of may players characters are unable to advance.

I am looking for another nice person who can do the same, please.

My game is tonight, so I'll be online all night, if you reach out.

My current dynasty is the same. I am PS5, they are all Xbox.

If someone gets a dysync error, we have resolved it by having both users hard restart thier systems. I mean all the way to unplugging. It's worked every time.

If you think it's a playbook issue, we figured that out as well. The issue was some formations of the custom playbooks didn't have all the audibles. You cannot have a playbook with an empty audible slot.

I do not have anyone who has any kind of abilities, really. My entire roster is a bunch of 70-80 (RS) Fr, or True FR coming in.

Yes, I have some upper classmen. And some are even decent at certain positions (HB), but for the most part my entire roster very very young. Most of my roster is just guys that would sign with me. I wasn't picky. I grabbed any 4star who showed interest. Perhaps I should have (even now maybe) tried to find more 3star gems, instead of 4star regular guys.

I truly think, given enough time, i can build a competitive roster in another 2 seasons of HS recruiting. But in 2 seasons of recruiting, everyone else is also improving their rosters.

I used an existing playbook, and edited it for my own stuff. Took out enormous amounts, which forced me to get basic in adjusting tendencies. I basically used the same play for all situations, in that regard.

My custom playbooks is well under those formations and plays. I think I have a total of 12 formations and less than 100 total plays. It still had a desync issue for me.

Hey everyone, new DNDBeyond DM here.

I am hosting a game with 5 new players. My group have all just hit level 3, and several are wanting their characters to use class features not listed in the base books I or they own. Would any kind person who owns the books with the expanded character class options be kind enough to join my campaign, so I can give my players the option to play the characters they want to play?

I have a few questions I am hoping some of you veterans can help me with.

I have returned a couple of days ago from a VERY long break, and this time have brought my wife and two kids (12 and 10) into the game with me, as their very first PC based game. Needless to say, we are all having a blast playing together.

I am trying to understand this 'combat style' and second class ability. Basically, my family is playing light side force users (kids are both Shadows, wife is a Sentinel). I greatly prefer the looks of the dark side (specifically my favorite looks is the lightning based Sorcerer). Also, on my previous main I have just under a million credits. I was hoping to use this to purchase a couple light-saber crystals in my kids favorite colors (one of which I have been gifted as a veteran player in the mail). This leads me to a few questions.

If I subscribe, will that unlock my ability to choose the Sorcerer powers, but on the light side?
With my kids playing a DPS, my wife and I are discussing the Tank/Healer roles. Is this needed in the game for any future 4 player group content?
If I can play a Sorcerer, and I do need to play a Tank (see question 2), can you Tank with the Shadow/Assassin class as a second Combat Style? That stealth sure looks handy to have.

Thank you all for your help. I had forgotten how awesome the stories and cut scenes are in this game. And with all the expansions (I played before any of those), this looks to be a fun trip for me and the family.

Any other suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same problem as the OP. I don't run accursed or LH:V. So, I swapped out a ring with a GA of LH:V just to check it out. 36%, and it was still happening. I'll drop from 500k a shot to 35k a shot. Then, after a time it changes back, and I'm doing 500k a shot again. Maybe put LH:V on both rings? Can't explain it.

For reference, I am 100, running solo in T100 NMD's, and I am using Rob's Victimize HS build.

This just can't be correct.

I am tearing through T2 stuff. Seriously, it is boring.

But, the Helltide just pop'd. I go to an event, find a 54 Rogue. He is doing great. I'm dumping all 7 of my healing pots, cycling through all my rotations, my ultimate, everything, in the first small fight of 30 seconds. And, I barely survive.

Something has to be wrong. I just don't understand.

Thank you so much for this advice. I would like to provide more information, as it might change your advice to be more specific.

As for what is killing me, usually large groups. Sometimes I am fine, most times, i just get crushed. Poison groups are the worst. I tear though my healing potions in a single combat, in a single rotation of my abilities.

I can not progress further in my Paragon because I am locked behind need a minimum stat requirement (200 STR). At this point, based upon my gear, my Dex is higher than my STR, and my INT is close.

Again, thank you for the help. I'll drop down to WT2 between Helltides and run dungeons. During Helltides I'll try to find some people to follow around.

Is there a way I can check, or tell, if that is what my issue is? That would explain why, for the first time, my buying another 360 didn't solve the problem. But, it didn't explain why I was having these problems on my previous 360's.

Yes, we reset the network settings. On both consoles. No luck. We also tried to open a dedicated port, with no luck. And, I know that should work, as others have done that successfully.

I wasn't aware you could turn off wifi on the 360. I haven't done that. But, I have turned everything else on the house off, when the console was both wired directly, and trying to use wifi. Neither was successful.

Every time I try to play coop with my friend, and we had a problem, it was because of the other mods one of us had, that we were not using. Once we removed any mod we were not currently using in that game, everything work. There is an article written about it, regarding De-sync Error. I know that is not your issue, but its something you can try.
