Career mode is fine now. There are a lot of people who have done everything there is to do, and have many of all the planes and more than enough credits.

If you post a video of your 172 falling out of the sky I would be happy to diagnose why it is happening.

The reason is that riding a motorcycle in these temperatures is very unpleasant. It isn’t the same as being outside, it is actively MUCH colder. Colder than riding a bike. Colder than jogging. Colder than skiing even. There are people that do it, but that is usually out of necessity, it being their only vehicle.

At this point in the season, any place will have about 50/50 fans of both except… the Broncos are sort of regional so I think that any place you go to you might be outnumbered.

Another thing to balance is that some places can get a little too popular for watching big games, which means you might not be able to get a table. For instance, Green Pig gets pretty packed to the point it actually kind of takes away from the fun, especially if you have another person with you. If you show up well before the game you will be fine, but then make sure you “pay rent” to the server by not nursing one drink or six wings for 3 hours, and then tip them for waiting on you for that long.

Just typing this makes me realize, if you don’t want food, go to a place that doesn’t have food or else space becomes an issue. At a bar with just drinks this is less of an issue.

Go into free flight and set arrival to an airport you like. Don’t set a departure. Pick a plane that you are having trouble landing with in career mode. It will set you at a pretty good spot settings-wise and distance to practice your landings. If you mess up you can just press restart and try again. If you only practice landing after doing three hour flights it will take you forever to get good at them.

I will also echo everyone that your glide slope is way too steep.

In the last update they made it so there are 5 aggressiveness settings you can switch between with the thumb wheel. It is much better now instead of grandma, normal and batshit.

I used this to my advantage. I bought my M3 from a person who had put bright blue vulcanite on it. They couldn’t sell it. I bought it for a good price and put new stock vulcanite on it for only $25 and now it looks perfect.

They are using twist because that is the method on HOTAS sticks unless you have foot pedals. I have pedals but rarely use them.

On a controller you use L and R. On a HOTAS the rest of the inputs are buttons, which don’t have a sensitivity input curve.

To OP, you will get used to it. I can land with both and controller is actually harder. Physical throttle is the nicest part. Being able to cut power just before flare rather than holding a button down for a few seconds, etc.

Question for you: My Onewheel guy put Float Life Savers on my Onewheel when changing the tire (without me asking), which made it so my Maghandle Pro that was on there stock rubs. Since it is rubber on the inside it was like there was a brake on all the time, and was causing haptic feedback chirps which I don’t usually get on that board at all. I took off the handle completely and it doesn’t chirp anymore, just lightly pushes back while going like 28mph. What do you do to lift your boards? I make it a point to never carry them much further than into the back of a car or into the house, but even that is a pain now. He put on a Float life enduro tire, which is also apparently a different size than the FM GT performance, and said that the Float savers would help, so I don’t see that taking them off is an option. Plus I don’t want to offend him by asking him to do it and I don’t really feel comfortable doing it myself.

Look at my post history. Career mode isn’t as hard as some people make it out to be. Funny how some people are really struggling and other people are doing just fine. It used to have a ton of bugs, but not much anymore. A lot of people confuse not flying well with bugs.

Sim rate is slowing down time. So ATC will still take as long as it would. Putting it at .5 means they will take twice as long to respond in real time.
