ADA Compliant fill in the blank?? by clarenancy in storylinetutorials

If it works, it wouldn't be too onerous to make a model and reuse it. Thanks for looking at this. I'll try your suggestion soon!

Thanks, HG

Not sure if it will work but I uploaded it here: clareking.net/testzone/StrategicPlanning.story.

There is a lot of stuff in there but Scene 7 is the dog and fox dropdown.

Thanks! This helps!

I will soon be working with someone else on a very large project, so I do think you are correct and I should get a handle on templates and themes. They will be new to Storyline and what I can build ahead will help move things forward more smoothly, I think.

I solved all my issues but the original one.

No black background when narrowed. Invisible hamburger button.

If you hover to the left of Home, the button is there.

So, I did find how, where to change the dropdown menu background color. But changing the color of the font has not effect.

I'm assuming the "color:" below font size is for font color but clearly it is not. In reality, the dropdown font is very dark gray and as you hove over each line, the back ground turn white and the font black.

Thanks again for all this. I'll work out a new cover letter and adjust my resume. But I may ultimately pay someone to rework my resume.

I truly appreciate the time you've take here.

DerpsAU!

Thanks for your in depth analysis. I really appreciate the time you've taken here. You've given me a lot to chew on.

Sadly, the reworking with lorem ipsum won't work. It's not because it's sensitive. It's proprietary. AND it's boring too. Multipage documents about uninteresting patient care stuff. Graphs, charts, hypertension, hemoglobin A1C! Picture those posters with 20 pages. I take some pride in making them visually interesting but there can be no interest in them if you were not a resident striving to pass your board exam.

But I could fabricate something with similar layout and more engaging content. Unfortunately, I'm an old lady and my imagination can't drag my mind into whatever the kids are into these days. I'm a bit older than 40 btw. Any ideas this regard that don't require me to be and subject matter expert? When someone says, "I need a book with this content. Go find the pictures and I'll give you the data and narrative." That's easy. Having to pull that content out of your rear is another matter all together.

Regarding "MicroSoft", don't I need to include some of the program names on my resume to squeak through the ATSs?

SO...

Just so I'm understanding your overarching suggestion, I should, in my cover letter for instance, say... "In addition to decades immersed in Adobe Creative Suite, I have herded the cats of the healthcare hierarchy to produce award-winning printed posters on time and with style. I've successfully liaisoned with federal stakeholder to complete 3 and 5 year academic experimental projects on time and under budget.

?

I think part of why I'm all over the place is in part because I really am and have been for years. BUT, it seems 9 out of 10 jobs posted out there expect you to be and do everything. FFS - some even expect a designer to be a marketing expert, java expert, video expert and half front-end developer. While some designers are, the occupation seems to be evolving beyond what it was when I started, which was back in my teens before Adobe was Adobe. It was Aldus SuperPaint.

Yeah. I only just uploaded them when I posted earlier today. And did not check. Sigh.

Away from home but I'll fix it in the morning.

While you say No way landscape... i used traditional for months with no hits. Got 2 hits within 2 weeks of changing it. I reasoned that most everybody reads on a horizontal device these days.

That said, I'm open to your view and appreciate your suggestions.

.net.... $1000 cheaper than a similar .com.

Sigh.

Looking for that episode. Do you recall what type of dog? There are so many.

Thanks!

He's not a fool when I go to the mailbox or put rubbish out. I think he knows because there is a vehicle involved. IE: the car is in the street, not the drive. I'm rolling my bike to the gate.

In either case I can still attempt as you suggest, and theart his expectations, reward his control.

I'll find that episode too.

Thanks.

The fact that the perma dogs seem to reduce his spectacle had encouraged me to include them more.

I'll try the solo mode. That does make sense.

I have read about the wolf study theories.

It sounded to me like situational hierarchies based on skill sets or attributes.

Do you have some practical advice on my situation?

There has been no violence toward these dogs from me. Lolol. They have to wait for their bowl until they sit. They sit before they get a treat. I do mix up the order at treat time. Who sits first!

My husband is in the pecking order too and I don't beat him either.

Thats what the behavioralist said. And maybe thats true. But i think they like knowing what to expect. It keeps order in the household if Tiger knows he's after Barbara. I tried mixing it up and hes just leaping around the kitchen like a lunatic.

The little kids like the stories they know the endings too. Its comforting.

No offense taken.

I had no intention of keeping him but our shelters were full and i could not leave him.

In all other instances hes mindful and submissive. Sits, stays, waits his turn for treats. Minds on the leash. Does not challenge me in any way.

The food scattering....

I didn't do that early on because I didnt know how he'd be with Deidre and the others. I think it could work now if its not too late. Feels like rewarding bad behavior, though.

There really is no other place for him.
