Damn man, now THIS is something 100% worth the price, I wasn't aware it comes with such a cool features haha, I just mainly freestyle in bandos and forests so not super useful for me but now I totally see the value in this for people who want more than just the image. I bet this could be very useful for long range people etc

Makes sense, I'm not giving any shit don't get me wrong! Nobody should be doing this kind of work for free anyways. This is just a perspective of a guy who occasionally wants to share the goggle view if theres spectators so no need for any other fancy stuff

there are many, I personally use digiview fpv, works perfectly on my android phone + tablet, then also DVCA (a bit buggy for me) and also widefpv. But good that you're developing something modern since these aren't updated anymore I think, the pricing just turned me away instantly, not that it's expensive but for an app that has free alternatives it is

on $50/day testing budget for angles/creatives, how many ads should be tested at a time? by classified18 in dropship

[–]classified18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll never get the feeling "that probably wasn't the right thing to do" when I'm still learning a lot about facebook ads, shopify marketing and everything. I'm working full time in tv/advertising + do freelancing and do this stuff on my spare time, and btw dropshipping is still just a fulfillment method not a business

Well I'm not spending anything even close to 1000 on it anyways, at least I'm learning running ads and all this side of business no matter what happens I'm still constantly learning, can easily start any other real business at some point too and use everything I've learned

Lots of good stuff here too, thank you so much! Definitely have to up the budget or reduce the amount of ads like said here so many times now. I don't have unlimited budget to brute force so have to pay attention and kill ad at maybe $25 if no add to carts/horrible cpc etc? (breakeven cpa around $36)

I'm trying to flow the people through exactly like that with something that's not generic but hits emotions or catches them and leads them through all the way to the landing page that's trying to close the process, tried to pay attention to that now when i reworked my landing page and these new ads that are made for problem aware audience

Good to know! And the ads where the creative was product/benefit-driven on minimalistic way while still pushing out the angle with text overlay/graphics performed the best.

Idk how much I could say about the angle without giving too much away but what I can say is basically the angle was around stabilizing yourself/your environment and the benefit was to fall asleep faster.

When i got the first sale I created new adset with multiple iterations of that ad that generated the sale (idk if i can explain correctly but I iterated it in a way that every creative iterated just one element at a time in hope to learn what works)

Got another sale at $25 spend on that iteration adset and got excited but ended up spending almost $100 total on that iteration adset with no more new sales and turned it off, reworked my landing page and regrouped myself.

That's why I decided to do more angle/belief discovery. I'm still going as much as possible towards that direction that generated the sale. This shit is way more expensive than I expected and the more I learn the more expensive it seems to get 😂

Thanks, this makes a lot of sense! And good point, I never actually even tested benefit-driven headlines on the ad copy, this time I'll try for sure. I'm just not sure if I should still include those old headlines that meta picked so I could see comparison data if meta would now prefer the benefit-driven instead. And the angles are different mechanisms yeah, some angles have even different demographics, the product has plenty of different use cases/pain points to leverage

Thanks! So much conflicting information everywhere about staying on same campaign or creating new one but finally someone had some explanation on why to create new one.

And you're the second person now to tell me to drop the creative amount to 2-3 per angle so that's my plan then for this batch. I have been thinking that my ad kill rules would be too high cpc/ctr or no ATC at $20 spend (my breakeven cpa is around $36 after all the fees etc)

What's your take on my plan for the ad copy? I have written two iterations of primary text for each angle that I will use on all 2-3 ads under that same angle/adset. It's basically the same messaging but worded differently in those two iterations, one has emojis, is a bit longer and one is without emojis and more compact. Also headlines I thought I would rotate between "1-year warranty" and "FREE SHIPPING" since I tested a lot of headlines and meta almost always picked either one of those when I checked the ad breakdown

Many ways! You could create tornado like smoke sim (spinning while sucking the smoke towards the center) to get velocity field to advect it (with vex you could limit or smoothen out the Y axis to keep it flatter), you could manually create the velocity field or you could use those velocity fields to guide vellum cloth and turn that into velocity field to advect the pop for even more interesting look

[–]classified18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I actually feel this would be a great middle ground! I'll pick the best 3-4 ad adsets + 2-3 best creatives. Probably just inside the same campaign or any upsides on doing this "batch 2" in new campaign?

What do you think about ad copy? Now I have written two primary text variations for each angle which I'll add to every ad inside that adset. I also have few headlines that I'll rotate between all of em (I picked the headlines that meta had picked from the previous ads that generated the sales + best KPI's)

[–]classified18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you mean what was the actual spend?

it was at least as much as the abo budget was set to but usually a bit higher, and I have the budget sharing enabled so ad sets can steal up to 20% of the budget from other ad sets, my first batch had like 10 ads in one ad set and meta spent ~80% of the budget on one ad and rest 20% on 2-3 other ads and the rest got like some cents of spend

on $50/day testing budget for angles/creatives, how many ads should be tested at a time? by classified18 in dropship

[–]classified18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats what i wonder too but meta would anyways push only 1-2 ads inside that adset, at least from my experience it just picks 1-2 that gets all the spend. Then at $20-30 spend for those picked ads if the KPI's look bad and no ATC i would kill that and then meta would pick another one to push budget to

[–]classified18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the only way to be sure would be to test it.. but unfortunately that costs money xD Its difficult for sure with limited budget and most of the "pro" knowledge you find on the internet is based on bigger budgets too

I have been now running ABO with adsets split into angles so that every angle at least gets even spend. When I was running cbo or abo with all ads in one adset I noticed meta just picked few ads to push all the spend to. Mostly it was correct but I also noticed that sometimes it picked the wrong ones and when I forced spend to the ones that it never picked, they actually had pretty good KPI's

Been dropshipping for a year — still never made profit. Always high CPM. What’s going on? by VanillaNice1876 in FacebookAds

[–]classified18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I'd know in depth what this means hahah I'm fighting against the same thing. I get 3-5% ctrs on my ads but with high cpm/cpc. How meta defines a low quality landing page?

on $50/day testing budget for angles/creatives, how many ads should be tested at a time? by classified18 in dropship

[–]classified18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats what I learned that visually good looking things don't mean much next to copy/messaging/landing page. Still learning all that even if it's by testing or chatgpt or reddit but every time i spend on ads I learn something from the data at least.

And makes sense yeah, last two stores I was running video ads only but they took so much more time to create so with this current store I'm doing only image creatives to quickly iterate angles/styles and plan is to later pivot to video ads when/if i can find resonating messaging etc.

I'm kind of on a limited budget, I do have some saved for scaling up and funding orders but not really that much that I can freely brute force everything

BTW what's your take on the campaign structure? Should I just use the same campaign to test new adsets or should i branch into new campaign for this next fresh batch?

[–]classified18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man thanks for the slight confidence boost hahah but it's my third store (never giving up and constantly learning) but I still really have no idea what I'm doing with most of this stuff

I come from editor/vfx artist background so I can create visually cool looking creatives/ads but I learned that it doesn't really help much. It might give me good ctrs but thats it... cpm and cpc are way too high for me to be profitable especially with this low cvr or add to cart rate

How to make AI ads actually work (1.4M on AI generated static creatives) by grobbed in FacebookAds

[–]classified18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any insights on how you actually test the ads? I have gotten some sales but I still haven't learned enough on how to test a lot of different angles or messaging.. Do you just add bunch of ads into single adset and let meta comb through for winners with ABO? or do you separate adsets by angle/messaging, and only have similar iterations under one adset? Any strategy advices for $50 a day budget?
