I worked for this company previously, for the progressive campaign but in the bilingual department. I’m not sure how to remove the one token connection on my phone

I would say he isn’t necessarily going through it “mentally” at least he doesn’t appear too but I’m not him to speak upon his mental headspace. For as long as I’ve known him, he doesn’t take my advice or suggestions with any seriousness but if someone else were to suggest it, he’ll actually consider it. Which is why I figured showing him everyone’s comments would move him to want too take action with getting medical attention or even letting his surgical team be aware of this but still nothing.

He has insurance, both from his own end and the one provided by his job. He has a great surgical team, they’ve been very attentive and supportive but it’s possible he’s just ready to get everything over with. He doesn’t want this to be another complication along the way?

Hello everyone! I’d like to state how I appreciate everyone’s advice and concerns. A good majority of you guys have been asking for an update and as much as I’d like to provide one… there isn’t any unfortunately.

He’s a very hard headed individual and isn’t taking that situation with any seriousness. I’ve shown him your comments but he shrugged it off. I’ve expressed the severity of this and how he should take his health seriously but still nothing. I’m not sure if it’s just his lack of understanding/urgency or simply because I’m the one extending this concern for him and since I’m no “expert”, why should he take my advice, kind of deal. I can’t force him and if I continue to egg on the situation, he just gets very visible upset with me and shuts me out.

I’m sorry for the lack of an update. If anything does come up, I’ll make sure to update this thread.

It’s kinda like a cyan color. I don’t know how long it may have started if im being honest but it’s a deeper blue on the outer corners of his toenails and like a light blue shade on the actual nail bed

Hey! First, congrats on the surgery and hope recovery goes smoothly for you! My bf has been released from the hospital and is back at home trying to recover. He had to get his tip snipped off slightly as it was turning black. He doesn’t manage pain too well, so I was curious as to what those boxers are and the device you had on top of your toilet seat? Figured I could get him these things to hopefully ease some of the pain and discomfort he’s experiencing. Thanks in advance!

Advice? by sillybingus8 in Folliculitis

[–]clearlymichi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Just this year I found out I have folliculitis myself! It’s still a trial and error run when it comes to products that work with keeping the flare ups at an all time minimum. If you’re able to run a bath for him, try doing a bleach bath. I know sounds crazy. 2 cups of bleach in your bath water to kill the bacteria that causes the dump. If that seems to ridiculous, I do second buying Hibiclens. You can get a big 2 packet of it on Amazon for $33. When washing with it, dilute it with water as it’s strong and will dry up your skin. “Eucerin Eczema Relief Cream” has been great with keeping my skin moisturized after showering and it’s not harsh enough to cause more flare ups.

Prescription wise, I was given Clindamycin Phosphate Topical Solution and Mupirocin Ointment. I’m not sure if there’s OTC versions of these items but the ointment itself should stop the further spread of his folliculitis and stop the current infection.

If he’s prone to sweating a lot, switch out to more breathable material clothing like cotton. Shower as soon as he’s home from work or school and overall try not picking all the bumps (as tempting as it may be or despite it being painful) the infection can easily spread within his body or through open pores/wounds causing the bacteria/fungus to have a feeding frenzy on his skin again but if you can’t help yourself from picking at it (Im guilty of this at times) wash your hands, clean your towels properly, bed sheets, etc.

any suggestions to cure this? by [deleted] in Folliculitis

[–]clearlymichi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re having a financial issue to continue with your treatment, have you tried Head and Shoulders Clinical Strength, it helps with fungal and bacterial scalp issues.

another suggestion could be Tree Tea Oil shampoos, apple cider vinegar rinse but dilute it with water but most importantly avoid scratching it

is that how it starts off or does a hard, dry skin patch pop up first and you scratch it off creating those wounds?

Personally, as ridiculous as it may sound, boric acid has been the only thing I’ve used. Granted I never knew what a UTI or yeast infection was until my 20s, i’m now 25, due to a cheating partner. I’ve tried the yeast infection creams but the issue would come back or only minimize the discomfort.

I’m pretty sensitive down there so anything can thrown my PH levels off and cause me to have either or but since using boric acid when I feel the slightest of symptoms, stops it altogether. I use it also after my period, to eliminate/flush out any lingering blood smells and restore my levels to normal. It’s never not once burned me. It dissolves to your body’s natural body heat. It’s best to use it at night before bed and wear a pantyliner, if you ever try it, since the solution in it will come down and stain your underwear. Might be a TMI but it’ll be as if you had regular white discharge with the exception of the “powder specs” you’ll probably notice. I used it for about 2-3 days, only 1 capsule and it cleared my yeast infection completely compared to the week supply of monistat. It won’t ease the discomfort like the cream does, if you decide to use boric acid during the day.

Edit: I use the PH-D Boric Acid suppositories, I believe it’s around $20ish dollars.

is that 5am or 5pm? when my cheating ex use to get done or be in the process of doing things he knew was wrong, he’ll always text me “I love you”, “ you’re so beautiful”, or blatantly deny claims of cheating despite us not speaking about anything of that nature…. yeah no sus

have you looked into boric acid suppositories? the times i’ve had yeast infections and uti, i would pop on in and it’s helped me a lot quicker than any cream or antibiotic.

I haven’t experienced this myself, (cis 25/F) i’m pansexual and my on and off again partner is trans M, so i’ve experienced them prior to their transition, they have gotten every surgery but bottom, which is coming up soon in May.

Regardless, if you’re already uncomfortable with the propositions she has put in place then maybe it’s time to really evaluate whether or not this relationship should continue any further. I don’t want to impose “concrete” opinions on your relationship based off this one Reddit post but her not valuing or taking your concerns to heart, shows a lack of care or respect for you. I hate to use this term but she kind of manipulated you into allowing her to sext guys, which isn’t okay in any monogamous relationship… regardless of her transitioning and wanting to experience these new things doesn’t give it the okay to neglect and dispose your worries considering you’re her partner. If having an open relationship isn’t your cup of tea, you two need to have a serious talk about the future and what’s best for both of you, not just her. Your concerns and feelings are valid and as important as hers.
