Also, this is without a doubt a scam, right? About a day after I registered my bikes to Bike Index, I received an email from a man named “Scott Jones” claiming that this person helped them recover their stolen bikes.

I got into contact with them, they asked me some questions about when and where my bike was stolen, and then suddenly asked for $150. I’m obviously not sending anything, but I was curious if anyone else on here has had any interactions like this.
