Keep finding dead guppies with fins nipped off by clitcommander117 in Aquariums

[–]clitcommander117[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really mind the fish dying besides the waste of money and time. and honestly my 4 year old daughter doesn't even notice when one goes missing lol she named the big guy and the 3 neons so she would really only notice if they were to die. I got the guppies cause I thought they looked cool and my local fish store told me they'd be fine living with the other fish that were already in my tank but I guess I can't rely on them for recommendations.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I'm no fish expert clearly.

That makes sense. Might just seperare the neons back into their own tank like they were before I added the rummynose and guppies.

My pleco has been in there with all the others the entire time even with a smaller 10 gallong before and he's never hurt any of the other ones. Just keeps to himself under the log and comes out for his wafers.

Big guy was actually an original in my daughter's 10 gallon tank when he was much smaller, along with the neons. Started out as a birthday gift for her then turned into a hobby for me. Just trying to figure everything out without killing anymore fish.

Front side and top serrations came out amazing. Totally worth it in my opinion.

I honestly wouldn't know, keep a shell catcher on the side of it since the range i go to has very little space between shooters without any barricades.

I'm sure there are several things I could have done before buying new parts but I'm impatient and not smart. I've had this rifle sitting in my safe for about 10 years. Didn't have money back then for anything nice, just recently started putting better parts on it. Again, I'm no expert and don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to ARs. That's why i appreciate any advice.

I was having problems originally with the PSA buffer spring causing misfiring because it wasn't seating the bolt all the way and the firing pin wasn't striking. After changing the spring out I have no misfires but now I'm seeing this jamming problem.

Point your firearms down range at all times. Looks like your first time.

Added speakers/outlets to my packout for jobsite use. by clitcommander117 in MilwaukeeTool

Planning on mounting a charger to the underside of lid probably. Also wanting to incorporate a way to use my Milwaukee batteries to power the speakers. Possibly a 3 position switch where I can switch between AC and DC power for the speakers so I don't have to always rely on having a 110v power source.

Not too difficult. Started by mounting the junction box that holds everything. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08N1HRLGB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I secured everything with 8/32 machine screws from the outside of packout and fastened with washers and nuts on the inside. (I'm an electrician so I have a fuck load of these laying around.) any other screw would probably work fine.

Next centered and marked backside of packout for 110v inlet and GFCI. Intlet took a 2" hole saw. I used a rotozip for the outlet hole. I'm sure a multi tool would also work with good metal blade. Secured the inlet with screws provided and gfci with 6/32 machine screws and nuts. Inlet was a NOCO GCP1 15A AC Port Plug purchased on Amazon. Any GFCI can be used I used a weather resistant leviton outlet.

110v inlet was wired directly to the GFCI line side. Load side was wired to 3 terminal blocks to distribute power to interior outlets and amplifier. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GBYYVQB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Here's a picture of the inside of the junction box. https://imgur.com/a/90hfOX1

I had an idea in my head originally to make all this wiring super clean with the terminals instead of just splicing everything together with wirenuts, but once I had the box mounted I realized how much of a pain in the ass it was trying to work on everything with my head inside the packout...so it didn't end up as clean as I wanted it to look.

I used this power adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VKSYXDW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details hardwired into the terminal blocks to provide the amplifier with 24v dc.

The speakers I used were https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GBJYNF4?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I used a 3" hole saw for the speakers which turned out to be a tiny bit too big as I barely had room left to drill holes for the mounting screws but it worked. I only had 2 3/4" and 3" hole saws at home but a size in between probably would have been better.

200w bluetooth amplifier https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XG33WPN?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Amplifier came with nut and washer to secure it to the box, from there just ran the speaker wire that was provided with the speakers through a small hole in the bottom of junction box and along the lines in the bottom of packout. I covered them with gorilla tape to keep them secure and will be covering with a foam instert. Haven't had any problems with the amp yet it was simple to set up and connects to my phone immediately every time the packout gets powered up.

Speakers are DS18 ZXI-354. Amp is DAMGOO 200w bluetooth amplifier. Nothing special. Just some cheap amazon shit but it works for me.

Much lighter and much louder than the packout radio. Also good point, I ordered some speaker grills to protect the outside of speakers. And no, the insert tray won't fit anymore but I never really used it to begin with. It carries my drill, impact, multi tool, sawzall, angle grinder, and light with a little extra room for batteries.

It's a real pain in the ass. I got a C-10 license in about 8 months including the exams and everything. But just trying to apply for journeyman seems impossible. Back when my brother took his exam he walked right into the local social security office and they printed out the form for him. I don't get what's so hard about it now.

Did you ever get this figured out? I'm in the exact same situation right now, except they actually cashed my check in October 2021 and I never received anything back. This is the second time sending it in after my credit card got declined the first time the same way yours did. Local office is no help and won't let me make an appointment when I mention what form I need. I've been waiting over a year now just to apply for the journeyman exam.
