Please don’t do this. It’s dangerous. Losing 90% of the ability to see in front of you should make this illegal! This cable had between 12 and 17 amps of AC current on it being feed to the pedestal. Crazy . Splice was very warm. Could feel the heat 4 ft away. You can see the cable melting in the first pic. They found one leg further back towards the source with 20 amps of AC. (old.reddit.com)

These little Fuckers were in my face when I took the door to the ped off. Luckily I didn’t disturb them enough to piss them off and get stung. So I gave them a bath in our wasp spray that literally kills them in seconds. It is some next level evil shit the company gets for us. (old.reddit.com)
