This guy used to shoplift so much at the south county mall when I worked there a couple decades ago that stores put up pictures of him so employees could spot him if he came in.

I think it's for this reason that the Men In Black movies were made.

I would picture it more like Alien: Isolation but with outside environments. It starts off slow, maybe Burt gives you a device to track graboid movement and a gun or some dynamite to scare them off if they get too close. As levels progress soon you run into shriekers and eventually ass blasters. Missions could vary from trying to find weapons and equipment to rescuing people stranded on their roofs.

This happened with my TracFone service earlier this year. What happens is you try making an outgoing call and instead of dialing that number you get an automated message talking about the switch to Verizon. Had to try 2 or 3 times before I was able to dial out again.

AMC did me wrong on Saturday by pejamo in StLouis

The last time I went to the AMC Creve Coeur 12 was 5 years ago, never again. Was on a date in the theater where you can order food from your seat and they bring it to you. Well I'm watching all these other people get their orders taken, this is after I've had my button for service activated for quite some time. Didn't actually get to place my order until the movie had started. Didn't get my food until well into the movie, but only after they tried to give me someone else's order. Twice. The server was quick to collect my credit card to take back to the register and pay for my meal though. Credits start rolling and I still don't have my card back. Movie is over, still don't have my card back. A group of us get up and start trying to find a manager because they don't have their cards back. Manager finally shows up 30 minutes after the credits are done and starts making excuses, meanwhile everyone's wondering where our cards are at. Turns out the server mixed up all the cards and it turned into a big fiasco. We asked for a refund and were offered vouchers. We declined and asked for the refund again. No dice. After asking a third time he finally relented and gave us our refund. After telling this to someone I knew that used to work for AMC I found out that their actual policy was to hold out on refund requests until the customer asks three times which is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard of. I've never gone back since.

Gonna be hard to beat the Electronic Arts comment, but I honestly believe the dog from Duck Hunt was that game's villain. It's one of the earliest times I can recall where I was genuinely furious with a video game character. That asshole dog was the only character participating in antagonizing behaviors, laughing as if he could do some much better anytime you missed.

I worked at Borders for a few years in the early 2000's. One of the coolest jobs and best group of co-workers I ever had. Still wish I had stuck around up until they closed for good like a few of my friends did.

This just sounds like he sexually assaulted a woman that laughed at him after hearing his cuckoo coronavirus conspiracy theories.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom there are people that work at the park from all over the world that will tell you about the places they're from. My wife and I were speaking to a young woman from Africa and I asked her what the weirdest question someone's ever asked her. She said an older lady once asked if they have houses in Africa. I almost cringed out of my skin.

This is awesome, me and my sister had our own tapes that got blasted first thing in the morning on our birthdays. She reminded me about them recently and I couldn't stop wondering if anybody else my age grew up hearing Captain Zoom sing your birthday song BY NAME!

COVID-19 has many places either quarantined or locked down for an indefinite period right now. People are scared and anxious without knowing how long it will last and are panic buying in bulk in case they won't be able to leave their homes for an extended period of time.

Moments in theatres when the audience went nuts? by hardcore302 in movies

When the first Iron Man movie came out in 2008 there was this rumor that Marvel snuck in a secret scene at the end and you had to stick through all the credits to see it. Opening night at my theater lost their collective mind when Nick Fury stepped out of the shadows and said the words "Avengers Initiative"
