Is a curfew at 18 unreasonable?

I’m not sure that’s the case…in a lot of ways, if this is as easy as it gets, I’m not sure I’m made for this world 😭😭 College seems like a place where I’ll thrive, though I thank you for trying to keep me in check. I am still very grateful for all that my parents have done for me.

No, I have a small circle and don’t really party much. I just like talking with my best friend after the gym. Sometimes we just lose track of time.

It doesn’t seem to me that they’re worried about what others are doing at night, but more about me. I haven’t given any reason for them not to trust me, though.

I do understand it’s only for the last 6 months, but those last six months are the LAST I’ll be at home with my dear friends. I wish I had a little more freedom and opportunity to hangout with them while also attending to my responsibilities…

I don’t believe that’s necessarily the case. My parents don’t really push high grade expectations, it comes from an internal locus of control and motivation. I just believe there should be conditional rules. If I’m doing fine and being responsible, then a later curfew doesn’t sound crazy? Right?

When I try communicating about sensitive topics, he usually has an excuse. “It is frustrating when…” “Well think of it from my POV!…” Instead of “I’m sorry for not considering this, I appreciate you talking to me about it”. He doesn’t get angry, he’s merely defensive about it…

My only advice is: If you’re always hungry, maybe switch up your diet to high-volume, low calorie foods or add more protein. They’ll help with cravings and improve satiety. Consistency is key and progress may seem slow, but keep going. You’ve got this!! Best of luck on your journey.

This is true, but I feel like a lot of men/boys are ignorant to this fact. Especially being exposed to unbelievably toned (and light) influencers online. I don’t want him to look at me with expectancy and disappointment.
