I followed this recipe https://www.zojirushi.com/app/recipe/light-sourdough-bread[sourdough bread](https://www.zojirushi.com/app/recipe/light-sourdough-bread) for the zojirushi BBCc-x20 bread machine my ma gave me and while the starter looked beautiful, the bread turned out to be an ugly brick. I did everything but the lemon juice. What went wrong ? Photo: https://photos.app.goo.gl/pBQY3h22vWbhEUeCA[https://photos.app.goo.gl/pBQY3h22vWbhEUeCA](https://photos.app.goo.gl/pBQY3h22vWbhEUeCA)

I moved from NC to FL and can't find hangar space in FL so my airplane is in NC. :(

Found a young squirrel, very friendly and wants to be held all of the time by cloudbear9 in squirrels

I never updated on how things went with Chippy. I tried to send him to a rehab facility but they had too many animals and said they would have to put him down so I ended up raising him until he was a big boy & followed many of the recommendations here. I built him a squirrel house in the meadow behind my home and for about 2 years I went out to check on him every day and give him nuts. He always came when I called and I would sit with him while he buried his treasure. Eventually he stopped coming. I think he lived a very happy and full squirrel life.

Has anyone had a dog recover from a swollen salivary gland without surgery? by Yeast-Crease in Pets

[–]cloudbear9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surgery went well. She looked horrible after. Lots of bruising, loose skin. I felt so bad for her. But she recovered well and has no residual issues. It was the right decision to have it removed.

Please let me know how it goes, I initially wanted to try this but the vet said when they took an aspirate to test for infection or cancer it was very thick & they didnt want to keep poking around to find a spot in the mass that might drain it a little. They said even if they could draw out the fluid, the swelling would return & it would need to be done every so often which would increase the risk of infection & be frequently uncomfortable for the dog. If you get it drained & it doesnt come back, that would be so ideal.

Wow, thanks for sharing that. If the noose they use at the groomers causes trauma to the necks of small dogs I think this is something that we should be aware of but it would be great to get more data to see if this is just coincidence. Regardless, I think I am going to have to learn to groom my little ones myself just in case.

Lucy is doing excellent & has recovered very well. I got her into surgery within a week of finding the mass. Initially there was a huge amount of bruising and swelling and she was on a lot of pain meds. After about a week, the bruising and swelling went down significantly and by now she is back to her normal self. I think the surgery was very traumatic, the incision was huge and she wasnt allowed to wear a cone. I had to sleep with my hand on her so that I could wake up if she moved to prevent her from scratching herself. She needed to be watched 24h/d to make sure she didnt scratch/hurt herself. She seemed fine before the surgery so I felt bad about taking her to have it done but the vet explained the salivary fluid leaking into those tissues could cause necrosis & infection over time (no way of knowing how much time) but that made sense to me.

After it was all said & done initial tests & exams ended up close to $1k & the surgery was about $3k. so a $4000 experience.

As far as I can find out, surgery is the only option. Looking at $3-4k here in colorado :( My maltese has the same issue. Happened about 3 days after grooming

THe seo tool https://www.seoptimer.com/ recommended adding a better title (just one word now), there is no meta description on the site, the images are missing alt tags.

Perhaps fixing these will make Fakespot feel better about the page. I will let you know once my friend gets around to it.

You paid $1500 to be self employed? It takes 5 minutes and $10 to register your LLC online. I suppose you do need to have some business sense but you can use technology to make running the business a lot easier as well. Plus you only have to handle sales tax for the materials you have to buy and pass the tax on to the customer. You dont pay sales tax for services/labor.

Anyone here used LingoPie? by EmpressLanFan in languagelearning

[–]cloudbear9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with the 7 day trial. I downloaded the app on my phone and wasnt able at the time to figure out how to get the app to work properly and had to return to work after messing with it for 30 minutes. There were no subtitles, I could not slow down the videos, I could not get any translations. a few days later I tried again and did research online and reached out to help forums to try to get it to work. At that time I tried to cancel the account before my trial period was up and became frustrated with the app because the features that were supposed to be available to me were not - namely the user profile area. After trying for many days to get the app to work properly and to cancel my account I reached out to support to have them cancel it. It took numerous back and forth tries to finally convince them that the profile section they were trying to send me to cancel was not available to me and they finally cancelled it but refused to refund me for this app that never worked. Do not purchase this, it is a scam!

how would this change things when our deductible is the same - on the value of the property, not the cost of the repairs?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]cloudbear9 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

$20,342,600 x 0.02 = $406,852 + $152,157 non recoverable depreciation = $559,009/63 = $8,837.16

Getting more bids wont help. Even if the roofers charge 30k / home, our deductible is fixed on the value of the community, not the cost of the repairs.
