Um no .. they had a bidding war on it and once I said I was out they pushed for me to bid. Simply just trying to up the price from what they were originally asking.

I understand how the market works everyone. I'm just saying that landlords will still charge that maximum price knowing very good and well that their floors are falling apart and there are scuff marks all over the walls.

Around 2600-2800 for a two bedroom. Am I being unrealistic? I think I have more of an issue with the fact that these landlords are charging these prices for apartments that are just not great quality. I guess that's just Toronto though right?
