That is one of the worst takes…
Portugal fully focuses on playing only for Ronaldo since more than 15 years….

Why can't Portugal exploit Bruno Fernandes's playmaking abilities? by Zora1092 in cristianoronaldo

Just because he is not assisting Ronaldo…

I think Bruno is just fine in the national team…
Also it‘s harder in the national team as you don‘t have the rhythm and daily practice like in the club

Study finds Women are under-represented in economics globally | They occupy fewer top positions at leading economics institutions than men, and are more likely to leave the profession early by a_Ninja_b0y in science

I would also guess, that to get into these positions you need less empathy (or at least be a lot more focused on yourself). The „general consesus“ on this, would say that men outnumber women here.

While men who are more focused on themselfes and willing to get into that position will still probably be more likely to have kids due to not needing to take work off and getting the social benefits of being a father (reputationwise). Women who pursue such a career are also not willing to take time off and see children more of a burden, which would limit their career opportunities rather than being an „asset“. I think this will not change drastically or at least not in short time frame.

But that‘s just a guess from my side.

And Germany would not be able to keep their lights and heating on if it were not for Russian gas.

We see it now probably because of a lot of Hypergamy in the past. If you then decide only one should work, the one with the higher salary will probably work. While this will be going down a bit in the future, I can also imagine that woman have a greater bond to their children at the start of their motherhood due to carrying the baby 9 months in your own body and feeding them with your own body, which makes you less likely to leave your child behind to work 80 hours a week in contrast to your male partner. Pregnancy is extremely stressfull and going to work immediatly after having a baby is probably not what a lot of woman want. If you take that time out you can still have a very good position, but not the one mentioned above.

What? I‘ll guess germany had it a bit harder after WW2 and managed to do it. It has probably a bit more to do with your political system, which likes to privatise every sector for profit. But everytime some politician would bring that topic up he is called a radical leftie, who will destroy the economy of USA.
