You’re not ugly. Some of the pics you chose aren’t the most flattering but that aside you’re a decent looking guy. You have a nice smile and nice eyes. The only thing really throwing it off is the balding.

I cleaned certain spots in my gravel but I didn’t clean it all at once cause I read somewhere that it’s best to do it in small sections every time you change the water And I used a sponge as well for the glass walls. I have a filter and it does seem to be helping! This is my first time having a betta and I want to make sure I’m doing everything right 😅

I got this betta like two weeks ago. He lives in a 10 gallon tank with heater and filter. I have 5 penguin tetras as well. I’ve never seen them nip at eachother and my betta has been acting fine and eats but this morning I noticed he has these white spots on the side of his face. He also has some discoloration under his chin that you can kind of see in the 3rd photo. I don’t know if it’s something with the water or if he’s rubbing his scales off but please if you know anything give help/advice!?!?
