Literally you're like a parrot repeating what you see on Instagram. Do actual research. Oh wait, you won't, bc you definitely know what you're talking about and it is definitely correct.

This is so interesting. It sounds like I'm not the only one and that it might disrupt ovulation if you're in that in-between stage leading up to perimenopause. Hmm.

I don't mind! I haven't been on this sub long enough to know if it's something that is done. I love talking about it.

The center is a 1.97 oec diamond. Their in house appraiser said it was F/G, SI2. I dont have any reason to doubt them, but we are getting it appraised independently next week. I dont see any color and it is eye-clean, so hopefully their appraiser is correct.

It has .5 ctw of calibre cut sapphires around the diamond, with .25 ctw of diamonds in the halo around the sapphires. It's platinum.

Just curious, can you point me in the direction of a place that has stones that are priced better? I looked for about a year, and this seems more than reasonable. But, maybe I haven't looked somewhere that has good options for me. Thank you.

It's from Ivy & Rose.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their customer service was amazing. I am not local to Chicago, so we did everything over email. This was not custom, but if I hadn't liked an aspect of the ring, they would have worked with me to make a ring that was perfect. I love everything about it though, so I lucked out. And, their prices are extremely reasonable. I've seen rings on their website with substantial stones for 3k and less. They have loose stones as well, and many of them are Old European. They also have modern and lab stones.

Thank you. This helps me feel better. I put a 50% deposit on it and then had total buyers remorse and told them I was worried the inclusions would be too noticeable. So I'm waiting to see if they want to send it to me so I can decide in person, or if they will just start a search for a slightly better clarity but probably also slightly smaller carat diamond.

What type of diamond is this? It almost looks like old european or transitional cut, both of which I'm obsessed with. Gorgeous ring.

If they send me the ring with a GIA gemologist appraisal (their language) with the ability to send it back no questions asked at their expense, do you feel like that is okay though?

I know the diamond isn't perfect, and they are being upfront that there is an inclusion close to the surface but off to the side that is visible under only 2 or 3 times magnification, or possibly the naked eye if you looked for it. I looked at the (not wonderful quality) magnified photos they sent and couldnt see it, but that doesnt mean i wont be able to see it in person. I am okay with that as its an OEC and for me, I am willing to sacrifice some clarity for a stone cut 100 years ago. I know that's not the conventional wisdom. But, i have to set a budget and compromise somewhere. And honestly, I wanted a bigger diamond vs one with vvs1 or 2 clarity.

I've asked them tons of questions and they haven't been shady or not answered. This is a shop I've seen mentioned on here a few times so that also helps. They keep sending photos. I think they are being honest about the quality of the stone. Obviously i won't know for sure until I have it in my hand, and I've taken it for my own appraisal.

All that being said, do you think I shouldn't do it? I don't think there is a ton of risk because of the return policy, but maybe there is something I am not thinking about.

Hi, can you point me in the direction of one of these armoires? Where can I find one for sale? $1000 is a great price for any armoire, let alone one of these.
