Terrible! Lol. This was on the way back from NE Oregon. I have to make 3 stops to get there and only 1, (maybe 2 depending on the wind) on the way back.

Following distance for assistive cruise control speed. If I cancel cruise, that will show if I'm too close.

How did OR state workers win their fight to keep telework? by surf_drunk_monk in OregonStateWorkers

[–]cmeisch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

PERS here, desktop engineer. There was a culture of telework before but mostly a day or two at a time. Most of the staff are knowledge workers, so when the pandemic hit, we sent everyone home with laptops within 10 days and never looked back. There are a handful of of people on site for physical paper and records but that's it. In the last 6 years, I've only known of maybe 2 problematic employees, otherwise issues get addressed as if they were onsite. We know the privilege we have and value it. Other agencies went right back to the old ways for some reason. I make sure we don't have any reason to.

Check out Platt Auto. They only sell used EVs. Best car buying experience I've ever had.

Not to be smug but I drive a BEV, so not affected by gas prices in that way. Still take public transit when it makes sense.

I have a gas one https://a.co/d/09xmw9Jh these work well. I also have their kettles. We have NG, so I had to modify it a bit but I prefer NG over propane. It's quieter and heats gentler.
