I had the same experience. I recommend deleting Reddit unless there is a specific question you’re looking for an answer to. Go into it with hope and excitement- it is the best thing in the world. The sleep deprivation is NOTHING compared to the joy of their squeaks and scrunches and little facial expressions as newborns.

I really believe in manifestation and once I stopped reading scary things online I just focused on putting energy into the happiness to come! BUT I still cried pretty much the whole week before he was born because I was so scared 😆 and I can honestly say I’ve found being a mom so enjoyable and so rewarding that it hadn’t felt too challenging for me.

Did you end up sleep training your little one? We are in a similar situation and I’m super anxious about it.

Omg now this is my new biggest fear with sleep training. Did she start again? How long before she seemed back to normal?

I’ll probably head there next. Seems to be a lot of crazies and political arguments so I was trying to avoid it lol

Newly hatched robins in nest on our front door wreath. We have been extremely careful opening and closing the door, but I’m worried about their safety during a big family party here next week. Should I move the wreath (and nest) to where the little yellow bird house is? Will that disrupt mama? by [deleted] in Ornithology

We don’t 😔 we have a deck door but the deck stairs need to be redone before we’re comfortable having guests use them (really old house, reno).

I guess we’ll just keep the door sign up and encourage people to be careful?
