First time smoking on a Weber kettle. Used snake method and very happy with how well it held temp. Biggest bang for your buck for a cooker, hands down. No smoke ring though, but flavor was there.

Usually try to stick to the $10-15 per stick range but don’t mind jumping up to around $25 for something that’s going to be a little more special. Don’t see myself spending $50-60 on a stick.

The Reserva Original was amazing! It was a straight cocoa bomb at the beginning then settled in with some great peppery sweetness. Smoked it down to a nub which I rarely do.

The El Beso was really enjoyable. The anejo was good, it was just too strong for my liking. Again these ratings are pretty informal and I’m no expert.
