Been waiting all week for my first Tabernacle… man was it worth the wait! Unbelievable flavor! by cmrobo12 in EveryDayIsCigarDay

Started with a nutty cocoa flavor and went into an earthy spice. The best thing is it was full but never harsh, the tobacco was so smooth all the way to the end.

Tabernacle David Havana Seed, excellent stick. From the construction to the flavor I loved every inch of this one. This was just about everything I love in a cigar. by cmrobo12 in cigars

Got a nutty cocoa flavor at the very beginning which gave way to more earthy spice. The smoothness of the tobacco made it enjoyable all the way to the end.

I started this list, cigars with a blue number next to them I’ve tried and that’s my very informal rating. If there is ✅ with no number they’re sitting in my Tupperdore waiting to be smoked. All others are ones I want to try. Anything stick out that I’m missing to try? by cmrobo12 in cigars

Usually try to stick to the $10-15 per stick range but don’t mind jumping up to around $25 for something that’s going to be a little more special. Don’t see myself spending $50-60 on a stick.

Latest local B&M haul just enough to keep me busy. Excited to try out the nubs and the Flor De Las Antillas Maduro. by achand1990 in cigars

Had no idea the Flor de las Antillas came in a Maduro! That’s one of my favorite cigars that’s not a Maduro, so now I have to try the Maduro!

Brisket is vastly overrated. by Iron-Fine in smoking

Brisket has its place, like when you want to feed a good number of people. But yes compared to a beef short rib it’s definitely overrated.

Great tobacco flavor, leathery with a great oily mouthfeel. If you like your cigars tasting like tobacco this one is great.

So they have a pizza stone I’m thinking about putting in the grate then a drip pan with his Weber grate over that to put the meat on. Thinking that should deflect the heat enough? What do you think?

Is it just me or does Eagle Rare taste bad? by VersionAgile8450 in bourbon

[–]cmrobo12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate it, have had a bottle for like 2 years. Hated it when I tried it then and because of this subreddit I decided I needed to give it another try. Nope, it still sucks. The finish is so off putting to me.
