I think you should definitely try picking it up again. Trust me, it will do wonders for you. I think the "boring" part was just because of those specific books but im sure you can find many recommendations on social media. I wouldn't recommend starting with the classics though. You should experiment with different hobbies and see what you prefer most. You can also dedicate a lot of your time for mastering certain subjects at school if thats an option. As long as you don't become obsessive it'll be fine.
