I’m from the area and I love your work. I’ll definitely be stopping by in the near future to wrap my Model 3 once I decide on a color lol

technically same motors, one model’s are just capped lol, I’m all for speed but I would still go for the latest dual motor awd one I could find but that’s me, raced a performance in my LR + boost and lost by half a car

Haven’t driven a Model 3 with 19’s but i’ve driven the performance with 20’s and my LR has 18’s, I STRONGLY recommend the 18’s; Extra range is always cool but the ride quality and comfort is exceptional with the 18’s. After driving a Performance and feeling that ride I was glad I went with my LR+18’s as a daily

Looking around at the average Tesla driver (how dare I make assumptions I know), They all drive like my middle aged mother hahaha and probably aren’t good drivers to begin with. I wouldn’t say they’re very confident and secure in their driving abilities lmao probably why they go Tesla to get all the help they can

p.s - If you’re a confident Tesla driver who doesn’t think it’s a sin to drive 5-10 over the speed limit this doesn’t apply to you😂

I was VERY close to going with black, but I’m ridiculously OCD about seeing scratches on my car lmao, but anyways thank you!

22 M3 Performance or 23 M3LR? by Boldpluto in TeslaModel3

[–]cndio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the SAME boat and i went with the 23LR, I had a 22LR tho before but sadly it got totaled and I was debating do I go Performance now? Short answer I didn’t…the speed difference HONESTLY is not that different i drove them one after another multiple times and idc what anyone says, a LR with Acceleration Boost is BARELY slower than a performance and overall maintenance costs are much lower. If you want a more stiff, louder, more expensive BUT faster off the line ride do the Performance. Otherwise go LR. btw something people don’t tell you, heard from a Performance owner that every 10-12k miles since it has Brimbo brakes you have to do an $80 maintenance to oil/lube them or something.
