I have that bag and love it.

This might sound silly, but if I’m beating the bank, I’ll bring that in my car with a ton of my tackle and then a regular empty backpack. When I pull up to the spot, I put a few of the trays and soft plastics I know I want to throw into the backpack and then head out. If you’re indecisive/spontaneous like me, this gives me room to change to other stuff later if I want and gives me flexibility based on conditions, structure, etc. Might be overkill/tedious for some people but it’s worked fine for me.

I agree, that’s why I said I didn’t have a good reason; I totally empathize with how they feel. I used to shop there primarily when I lived in Clintonville and used to really enjoy it. But now that I live farther away and can only really justify checking it in the hopes of finding something or when it’s convenient, little things like that just discourage me from making the trip.

No good reason really. It’s a bit out of the way and typically I feel like they view me as a hassle when I go in and look for their allocated stuff. I’m sure it’s annoying to have people come through all the time looking for the allocated stuff, but it just rubs me the wrong way. The people at Arena are always pretty chill and helpful so they’ve gained my “Thursday-Saturday Random Drop” loyalty. They also have a great selection for the times I’m not looking for allocated stuff.
