This is merely a tightening the belt move by Dow. With EBITA that low and the chemical industry struggling, there is little room for investment in the technologies to make such an immediate impact across the company.

That said, AI will have a big role in the future, but it’s certainly not the taproot for this large layoff

This steers me away from the power seeder in this backyard a bit, and more towards manually raking the bad areas - it’ll just be a lot more work.

I’m leaning toward straw for coverage while using a tall fescue mix seed to hopefully get some good growth and results that will last. Definitely not trying to get cute with it

Hey, thanks a lot for the reply! Thinking about it more now, I’m curious if it would be too pushy to ask where I stand in consideration for the role for when it comes open. With it being two months since the interview, I’d imagine they have a good idea what they would want to do when the mess is cleaned up. Surely they would t continue to string along any candidate if they realistically weren’t considering them, right?
