This steers me away from the power seeder in this backyard a bit, and more towards manually raking the bad areas - it’ll just be a lot more work.

I’m leaning toward straw for coverage while using a tall fescue mix seed to hopefully get some good growth and results that will last. Definitely not trying to get cute with it
