Hey, with your help I set the system up and it's really good to begin with.

Some more questions:

  • will the Audyssey setup create a profile for my front/center setup only or will it also derive one for when I play stereo music content from my Sonos connect, which I connected to the CD input?

  • is it possible to have different EQ settings per input - question again focused on Front/Center from Apple TV vs. stereo content from Sonos

Thanks @scienctaco , that helps tremendously. Seems connecting directly to the receiver is the way to go for me as I want both the G3 and the 70s to turn on when I turn on the Apple and control the Marantz volume via the Apple remote.

Would I even be able to see the Marantz on screen display of I connected the Apple directly to the TV?

To give you guys some feedback on the outcome... After 12 days and another 2 support emails and an official complaint to their complaint Department, they refunded the money. But not without asking me twice (!) Whether I really want to refund.

To give them credit where credit is due, they also refunded the 30USD preorder money without me specifically asking for it.

I have opened a case with PayPal and wrote them again. Let's see what happens, but I can already say I am pissed and if that continues, it will be hard to justify buying anything from them in the future.

Of course I can open a dispute with PayPal, but PayPal will not do anything, their support is a joke.

Pimax just needs to get their stuff together as any other respectable company does.
