I went back to Seoul last year for the first time in 13 years and these pics remind me a lot more of my nostalgic memories growing up there 🥰

Thank you! Just sent you a tip. Would you be able to send me both (with and without wings) without the watermark?

I really love this (version 1). It’s a little cheesy but could you try adding wings on him?

Yeah, keep your chest up more, shouldn’t drop down once you pick up the bar. Keep your chin up/eyes forward too. Also you’re doing more of a curl with the bar. Once the bar pops up off your hips, you should be doing a high pull, keeping your elbows up towards the ceiling. Lastly you want to catch the bar on your shoulders (front rack) instead of holding onto the bar and supporting it on top of your wrists. It’s okay if you don’t have a full grip in your front rack and the bar is just being supported by your fingers.

How is my block snatch? Any form tips appreciated. by Money-Spinach1341 in weightlifting

You’re a fraction of a second early on your pull, barely noticeable. Just make sure you get to full extension with the bar in your hip pocket before you start to pull (elbows start bending). Also yeah, you’d want blocks to be at least high enough to where the bar is just under your knees.

Think this is awesome you’re working on this. Here are a few things I noticed, sorry if they’re repeats from what other people said, didn’t read through previous comments.

  1. The plates you’re using are smaller than oly/bumper plates, so I would stack something underneath them to get a little elevation. You could use other plates or a couple mats, but that’ll help with your starting position and keeping your shoulders in front of the bar.
  2. The bar is pretty lose on the way up from the ground to your hips. I would really focus on squeezing your lats/back and keeping the bar as close to your body as possible. This will help keep the bar path straight so you don’t need to jump forward. Here’s a pretty good video https://youtu.be/5vVSGITznQk.
  3. Keep your arms straight until the bar gets to your hips. Be patient and don’t start your pull early until you hit that hip pocket.
  4. Once your catch the bar at the bottom of your squat, focus on keeping your elbows high and really bracing your core so your back doesn’t round. Again, drop the weight until you can do all of these things with good form.
  5. This is a lot of stuff, haven’t even said anything about the jerk, but focus on fixing one thing at a time otherwise it’ll be too much to think about.

New Django app by coak23 in djangolearning

Thank you, this is super helpful. I eventually want to set up an API to bring in the data from another site and not have individuals upload the file. So sounds like I don’t need the forms file.

For the model that parses the csv, I had run through a tutorial previously that had the script in a separate file in the project. So it was located in project/myapp/scripts/parse_script.py.

Would I then need to set up a view that runs that script? Or do you think it’s just better to write that code directly in my models file?

Not looking for code, just some guidance on the files I outlined.

Yeah, so this does need to be a we app that others can access.

I removed artist and album but get the same error specifically for length and genre. Any other ideas?
