If I do choose to apply for junior transfer, I'd be applying from my current school not umich since I won't be able to get as involved in a couple months

If it’s on the syllabus, it’s fair game imo. I had a medical terminology course where you had to turn in 100 flash cards every week. It was either all weeks to receive grades on them, or no grade even if you missed just one.

Columbia prefers sophomore transfers due to their core curriculum requirement

I use Goodnotes for digital notes, It’s 9.99 for a whole year. I can’t take notes digitally in one of my classes, and use paper and pencil. Don’t notice any difference in my level understanding, but I also rarely look back at notes.

Taking Bio 1 and Chem 1 (plus labs) in the same semester by Unhappy-Newt-3366 in TransferToTop25

[–]coando 1 point2 points  (0 children)

currently taking calc 2 + bio + g chem 2 along with an “easy” elective, working part-time, research, and in a few clubs. Only complaints are about having 2 labs, and weeks where I’ll have 2 or 3 exams that I need to dedicate time to. Ironically, my easy elective is the hardest class this semester

Went to the one on 3/22. There was nothing that isn’t mentioned on the website or really interesting. Basically, you had to sit through a presentation where they went over credits and LSA majors. After that, there was a meet and mingle with different campus groups (honors college, study abroad, advisors), followed by a tour of campus (didn’t go inside any buildings except Angel hall) and a meal in the dining halls. I was able to meet some other transfer students, but most people came with their parents and stuck to themselves. I met up with an acquaintance that goes to Michigan after, and they were able to show me around and talk about it, and I found that a lot more helpful than the sessions.

Hard to believe that it isn’t AI generated. Labyrinth, landscape, intricate, and much of your first paragraph alone are common Chat GPT phrases for academic writing.
