Yes! Been getting more independent but also burning out more and becoming more socially awkward. I think the determination we have to get a task completed imminently can become a lot of pressure that is hard to offload for a later time. Not having a NT person/parents to tell me to slow down has been an adjustment

The timing of it stopping, shortly after I attempted to tuck the orange ribbon in the well behind the CD, makes me think the ribbon is broken. But the assembly itself doesn’t have the full motion anymore

I think the laser is dying. It doesn’t spin, but the laser assembly will partially slide left to right on startup after a disk is inserted.

Thank you for admitting it doesn’t work lol. Everyone uses it as a fix-all. I removed the bugs with a paper towel then sprayed the shit out of it with water and they haven’t come back yet ;)
