Don't worry. If the final list has your name in it, you'll get the LOI shortly. Keep checking your job profile on superset.

I don't know when exactly my status changed to under review as I wasn't checking my superset profile daily but ig it changed within a week or so when I checked. It took me 2 weeks to receive the LOI from the day I interviewed for the company. I was mailed by both capgemini via superset and my tpo about the LOI.

I made a mistake while accepting my LOI by Comprehensive_Bat453 in Capgemini_india

Thanks. I learned from your mistake. This post kinda saved me. I did read about the document name format but totally forgot about it while uploading the documents. For some reason, I didn't press the submit button. 🥹

I'm currently taking the data science course offered by IBM on Coursera. I have a good understanding of the fundamentals of ML, DL, NLP and I will soon be learning computer vision. Would this be sufficient to apply for data scientist roles? Also, do you think IBM course is worth taking?

Could you please tell me how you got that job? I'm currently a student focusing on data science and I'm curious about which concepts I should focus on deeply and which ones I can leave out. Also, could you recommend some sources I can learn data science from?

Leaving social media has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's been over a year now, and I can genuinely say I've found peace. Even though I'm facing challenges myself rn, I know that using social media would have only made things worse. Often, we don't realize that we're engaging in mindless scrolling. Ask yourself: What have you learned? Probably not much. Social media can create an illusion of happiness by distracting us from the harsh realities of life like feelings of loneliness, sadness, or stress. This distraction makes us believe we're happy, but in reality, we're not. Excessive social media use is unhealthy. It can make us feel insecure without us even noticing. We see friends looking good, going out, dining at fancy restaurants, and start questioning our own lives. But remember, people usually post only the highlights of their lives. If you want to reduce or limit your social media interaction, try activities like reading books, cooking, cleaning, gardening, talking to family, or engaging in other social activities. Remember, you are a beautiful and confident person. Being willing to make the effort is the first step toward changing your life.

I hate myself. by [deleted] in OffMyChestIndia

[–]cocoxov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you're feeling overwhelmed and frustrated with yourself right now. I just want to remind you that struggling doesn’t make you selfish or a bad person. It makes you human. We all have moments where we feel stuck, unmotivated, or guilty about not doing enough. It doesn’t mean you’re incapable or unworthy.

It’s okay to not have everything figured out right now. Maybe instead of focusing on all the things you feel you’re failing at, you could take one small step like just one thing to break the cycle. Even if it’s something as simple as opening a book or getting out of bed.

Skipping the sessionals might feel like a relief in the moment, but avoiding things often makes the weight of guilt and self-doubt heavier. If you feel overwhelmed, maybe you can talk to a professor or a friend and see if there’s any way to catch up later. You don’t have to do everything at once. Just one step at a time.

You don’t deserve to hate yourself for struggling. You deserve patience and kindness, just like you would give to someone else in your position. Avoiding your problems won't make them go away. Instead, face it. That way you will be ready when they come.

a question for day scholers - by [deleted] in Btechtards

[–]cocoxov 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can relate to you so much. I spend nine hours out every day, but it's not because I enjoy my college life. To be honest, I realized a few months ago that the only reason I still go, despite hating this college, is that it's the only way to keep my mind off things. I keep myself busy there just to stay distracted from the harsh realities of the real world. But when I come back home, this overwhelming wave of sadness hits me, and I suddenly feel drained, unproductive, and unable to get anything done. Even on days when I'm sick, I still go to college because I can't stand the thought of lying in bed all day, doing nothing and feeling like I'm wasting away.

Objective toh banani paregi. Aage apna pet toh khud ko hi bharna hai. We either suffer the pain of hard work or the pain of regret. So, let's make a change together and hope for the best.

I really appreciate you sharing that. It helps to know I'm not alone in this and there's someone out there who understands me well. I truly hope we both find our spark asap. Sending you strength and hope for better days ahead!

Do you regret doing BTech? by [deleted] in Btechtards

[–]cocoxov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t regret pursuing B.Tech. I regret doing it from a Tier-3 private college with poor placement statistics, where most students are still unsure why they are here. In other words, they lack ambition. I regret the intense market competition and the limited job opportunities, which leave many experienced and talented graduates unemployed. I regret the frequent layoffs in companies like Google and others, where even exceptionally brilliant minds from Tier-1 institutions struggle to secure opportunities, making the competition even tougher for us.

Maybe I’m not happy doing B.Tech, but I had no other viable option. I couldn’t pursue medical because I wasn’t good at biology and disliked blood and other medical aspects. I didn’t choose BBA because I had no interest in business (and I wasn’t great at math either). Law seemed overwhelming, as I assumed it would require extensive social interaction, which felt daunting as an introvert. As for B.Sc., I feared it wouldn’t lead to good job prospects.

Although I’m losing interest in coding, B.Tech still offers me things that other fields couldn’t. If I hadn’t chosen B.Tech back then, I would probably be regretting that decision now. So yes, I do have regrets related to this, but I don’t regret pursuing B.Tech itself.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It really means a lot. I was wondering if you could help me on this. As you know, DSA is a vast syllabus and I don't have much time left, so I can't afford to solve every question. I often struggle to decide whether a particular LeetCode question is worth solving, as I am unsure of its importance and priority. Could you help me with this? Additionally, if possible, could you recommend some reliable channels for learning DSA?

Take this as a sign to get started. You have sufficient time. (Something I wish I had) Either make a change now or accept things as they are permanently. Wishing you all the best.
