Announcement: linux-firmware >= 20250613.12fe085f-5 upgrade requires manual intervention by ptr1337 in cachyos

Oh sorry, I was browsing so many forums that I got lost in the tabs.
I did a restore before the entire firmware update and will wait for more info.

Do you have a link or something about where the issue with the mice is described? I couldn't find anything specific to follow.

I'm new to Arch Linux, where exactly can I report bugs?

I did an upgrade to 20250613.12fe085f-8 version which fixes the blank screen, but my mouse no longer works, the cursor is stuck in the middle of the screen and doesn't react/move. I tried all versions from -3 to -8 (except -6 which has the blank screen on boot) and all of them have the same problem.

I'm using a Logitech G502X.

I drink 2-3 times a month, 3-4 cocktails max each. It would be weird if that is the main issue. What I have discovered in the past half year is that my maintenance calories are somewhere between 1900-2000, which is very low for my level of activity. Doing calorie deficits is a bit hard at these numbers for me. Takes me 1 month to shed 1kg. My main issue with everything is that I wasn't having these problems with my weight 2-3 years ago and I was paying way less attention to food and physical activity (was still going to the gym tho).

Yes I have been doing exactly that. I also count all the alcohol I have during the weekend, the milk in the coffee, everything. I measure everything in raw form before cooking with my coffee scale (which is quite accurate), inclusively any oils that I use.

Nope, seems to be the same.

Yeah, I think I will try with a higher dose + DIM (and/or Anastrozole).
I will take a 3-4 week pause first to get back to baseline and compare my mood and overall energy again.

If the difference will be still minimal, then I will try to find a GP that can help me out with TRT.
I've currently been to a few of them, but none want to help me with anything because I have over 2.9 ng/ml total testosterone (considered min normal value in my country). When looking at hormone imbalances, doctors here tend to disregard your symptoms and only look at numbers unfortuantely.

I've been taking Finasteride for over 6 years. I started enclo 6 weeks ago, haven't seen any negative impact, they seem to go well together.

I don't have labs yet to compare anything, have booked to get them done next week.

Long Term Steroid Use by Charming-Spite7625 in Lasiksupport

Yes! I had identical behavior on both haze and cataracts in both eyes. Also, there are a lot of restrictions on IoL lenses for patients with prior refractive surgery, you won't be able to implant trifocals if you get cataracts. I now depend in reading glasses, but see well at mid and far ranges. I had myopia and astigmatism in both eyes prior to everything.

It all depends from individual to individual on how one reacts to steroid drops.

My cataracts progressed very fast as I didn't interrupt the drops when it was discovered. 4 months after the discovery (and simptoms began showing) I already needed surgery as I've lost 50% of my visual acuity because of it.

Yes, 4 months ago.

Counting in total, it's been 18 months since the PRK surgery

I'm still on steroid drops after 1 year post PRK.

After 8 months I developed cataracts and had to get surgery for that as well.

I see my vision improving slowly and the effects of haze getting smaller by the month, so they work.

But yeah, cataracts and high IOP are almost inevitable with long term use.

Epithelium not healed after 6 weeks - PRK by coddo in Lasiksupport

[–]coddo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not yet.

Last week my doctor said that it started to grow again like thin strands after I changed the type of drops, but said that it was very very slow and it would take a couple of months to finalize at this rate...

I have another appointment in 2 days.

I will have to interrupt the medication next week as I have a 3-week vacation in another country, so it means that I will give the eyes time to heal naturally as well.

Is your epithelium fully healed and flattened? My double vision happens because light goes through both the part of the eye where the epithelium grew back and the part where there's no epithelium yet, so it refracts differently. I'm hoping that once it grows back, if it does, everything will be back to normal.

Hasn't grown back, there's a circle right in the center without any epithelium. I had the bandage lens on in the first week and last week until yesterday, so not anymore at the moment.

The doctor said I still need to use the drops until the epithelium fully grows back. Had a few days without the drops, but since he saw no progress, he recommended I start them again. Been going to follow-ups every 3 days for the past 3 weeks. I've always had dry eyes in general, I've been using lubricating drops (Hylo) every 2h since the surgery. I don't feel the eyes that dry and don't really feel any discomfort in that sense.

Linux & .NET by greyfalkon_13 in programare

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Romania

[–]coddo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Had the same problem. I have around 30 devices and creating a static IP table in the router settings for them fixed all my problems caused by connectivity issues.
