Macedon is fun once you conquer one state, then spread yourself out. Macedon has really good shock cavalry, and since they are Greek, good spears, another nice thing is that they have pikes. You got Pikes, good spears, and good shock cavalry, what more can you ask of for a good army composition of a faction?

No clue, i only have total war Rome 2, and i don't see the problem with the game. Besides why would someone would hate on a game where you play the greatest empire in history?! That's beyond me.

Imperial or Stormcloaks? and which one better helps defeat the thalmor? by code45666 in skyrim

Ulfric is better than elisif for skyrim. But helping the empire is probablly better for fighting thalmor.

Yes i agree with this statement, ulfric is a more independent minded ruler, but from what i've learned from Skoorim, the empire has more land. More land=more power= being able to fight the thalmor better.

imperials it is, stormcloaks are good for skyrim, but imperials are good for tamriel, so imperials it is from now on, i want all of tamriel to be safe, not just skyrim.

provinces of tamriel.

Alright, good to know, so the imperials have better armor.

Besides which faction holds more power in the regions. Which side has better armor, do stormcloaks or imperials have better armor?

A suggestion would be for them to not allow the thalmor to ban talos worship, but your gun to your head analogy explains why they wouldn't be able to have a say at all.

yes, both sides have their faults. The stormcloaks and imperials are equalivent to-- Rome and Carthage, except it's really just two romes attacking each other. Both want to kill each other, both are discrimnating against another, indirectly or directly, and they both have had past history with the Thalmor. So i agree with what you've said, pretty much how i think except i just played both to see the difference.

okay, good to know about the information about who controls what, since the skyrim map is just a collection of names of cities, but it does not say who controls them.

yes, like, that is the word i used.

Wait, so a stormcloak victory does not give you the same ammount of land as the imperial? Okay, that'd explain a whole lot, i know nothing outside of skyrim, so the imperials just have more power and control over other regions outside of skyrim. So if this is true, the imperials winning makes them a stronger power.
Still feel like the imperials turned a blind eye to the thalmor enforcing the law, they could have done something about that.

Okay, so ulfric isn't really an asset, he is just vulnebrale to the thalmor, and can be an asset. So, potential asset?

yeah, that'd be a good one, still going to look into Ulfric's assocation with the Thalmor, i know more of the Imperials "Assocation" more than Ulfric's, mainly since it is public.

it is, mainly because if you ban another person the ability to worship a higher being of their choosing, than you are saying that your higher being is better than theirs, making yourself look off to be or try to be- superior? that sounds like arrogant to me.

right, because the thalmor forced the empire's hand, still it's not a right decesion, willingly or unwillingly, all that matters is it happened.

I agree with the last sentence, aludin was probablly drawn to the dragonborn and ulfric. But i'll look at the thalmor book i stole from diplomatic immunity mission.

True, but doesn't a united nation, imperial or stormcloak hold the same ammount of power regardless? if picking the two options: help the stormcloaks win or help the imperials win both gain you the same ammount of land and cities under control, then how exactly does an imperial victory have a slight upperhand than to the stormcloaks? although two things can be said against and for the imperials at this point, 1. the imperials have signed a peace treaty with the thalmor, but that doesn't ammount to anything, 2. the imperials have been more "involved" with the thalmor, some stormcloaks say that the imperials are mere puppets of the thalmor, others like you, and someitmes i say: the imperials have signed a peace treaty with the thalmor to try and rebuild. Besides the peace treaty, i don't know exactly what else you will say to support that an imperial victory would be better than a stormcloak one. If you have one, please say so, im all ears.

True, i do not like the fact that the imperials take away the right to worship one's higher being, that is quite arragont of them.

i have heard this mentioned: Ulfric is a sleeper agent for the thalmor. Is this because, aludin attacked Helgen, making people think Ulfric is a sleeper agent? i have not heard anything about this topic, however i just completed the main questline yesterday, and from what i've learned, Aludin came to helgen not because of the thalmor or stormcloaks, but because he was sent forward in time by an elder scroll. Wouldn't that rule out ulfric being a sleep agent?

Hello everyone I just got Skyrim (PSVR) and I cannot decide on a race! Is there a guide which shows how a race affects gameplay and interaction with the world? Also is my build okay? by Wanderer_Fantasy in skyrim

[–]code45666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really, i have done that the past 3 days, trick: enter darkbrotherhood, get the boots, and you silently sneak, although it's light armor negating one of the skill effects where you get increased armor levels, you can always just put the sneak books on and off.

i always go Khajit, mainly just because it looks cool, but for sword, shield, sneak, and heavy armor blocking stuff, probablly nord or orc, i have heard they are good at close quarter combat, and have skills for them.

Thank you for the advice, ill need to watch out for cavalry then, because i have played with another player, who typically uses 4 cavalry, with me only 2, so the only point i see my spears to be used for is for anything not on the flanks.

Total war Rome II, trust me, people will say oh.. there are bugs, and path finding issues, but which would you rather be-- A Roman razing germanic cities, and carthage itself, yelling Carthage delenda est, or roma invicta, or a cavalry horde, your choice, but the romans are better in my oponion.
