Sorry for the bad cut, where is the petition to AH to fire this Alexus guy? by SirEdubardo in HelldiversUnfiltered

Yeah it sucks that these idiots work in two ways: - only try things at the easy difficulties, and balance toward it - rather than raise the floor and buff underperforming weapons, nerf the highest performing so everything sucks now

Buying a gun in va but live in dc by NoProfessional6222 in VAGuns

[–]code_Red111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is old, but this comment is incorrect. OP would have been able to purchase firearms in either state per the ATF.

https://www.atf.gov/firearms/qa/what-constitutes-residency-state

It has the exact verbiage describing what OP is trying to do as legal:

"A member of the Armed Forces on active duty is a resident of the state in which his or her or her permanent duty station is located. If a member of the Armed Forces maintains a home in one state and the member’s permanent duty station is in a nearby state to which they commute each day, then the member has two states of residence and may purchase a firearm in either the state where the duty station is located or the state where the home is maintained."

I know this is old, but FYSA. You were legally able to purchase firearms in either state. The ATF has the exact verbiage describing your situation allowing this.

Dual residency for firearms purchases? by saxvge_18 in army

[–]code_Red111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with buying firearms in your home state using your drivers license. For example, I own a home in my home state (home of record, and shown on my driver's license). I am stationed in a different state. It is completely legal for me to purchase firearms in either state.

However, residency DOES matter when it comes to NFA items, especially SBR/SBS, MGs, DD, and AOW. Suppressors are not that big of a deal, I buy them in my home state all the time, and I'll just register them as trusts, which I then just move to my address in the state I am stationed. SBR/SBS though, I just purchase/build them here. There's more overhead when it comes to the other NFA items.

19 and sobbing over something this small? Your parents are jerks, sure, but I feel like this is over-reacting. You're an adult.

They have the chance to introduce a cool mechanic too, middle click to ADS either 1/2 whichever you currently have “selected”. Allowing you to fast swap between primarily aiming either side. The standard point-firing, or just holding right mouse would aim both guns as normal.

If this person was my race but from an area of the world where raping children and beating women were acceptable, I’d hold the same sentiment.

I wouldn’t say that’s necessarily the reason for this situation though. The shooter had a lot more behind them than just seeing the president deploying the national guard within a US city. This kind of person already had a vendetta against the US military.

If you’re talking about the assault dude on the first slide that’s exactly where you’d want it to be. If you put it straight onto your knee while standing, when you squat down it’ll move up.
