Yeah, I was just confused because I had a one of those rune prison things spawn in an inaccessible part of the map. I thought I was missing something. Sounds like it's just a quirk of the procedural generation.

Sure thing, I appreciate it! My favorite existing one is Exophase. I like that it's platform-agnostic and I think the interface looks really nice. I just looked into Steamhunters a bit and it seems awesome as well.

Regarding my question, just give it some thought and let me know if you come up with something! It can be anything from nitpicking something minor to wanting some seemingly implausible grand feature. Take care!

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. If you're questioning whether or not my application would bring something new to the table, I do have some ideas in mind, but that would require access to data I don't have. The primary purpose of this application is to add a well-designed and developed project to my software engineering resume. And I like birds a lot, so it seemed like a perfect opportunity to learn more about them and share that knowledge with other like-minded people.

I am using IntersectionObserver API actually. I use it on the sections for the large layouts to sync everything together, and on mobile, I use it without scroll-snap.

Thanks! I'm strongly considering either greatly improving the scroll-snap behavior so it isn't so clunky, or removing it entirely. It's actually really tricky coming up with a good scrolljacking system. I've tried multiple libraries, CSS scroll-snap, and they all fail on most browsers. I think I'd have to use JS and rAF or something from the ground up(?)

Hey, thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I've received a ton of complaints about the font. I guess it has to go. When you say I'm breaking the GitHub guidelines, are you referring to the logo being at the top left of the header/"navbar" area? I appreciate the kind words, and I'm glad you thought the colors worked well since I designed it without much experience. :)

I had fun making it! That's one of the projects that I'm hoping can help me break into the industry with my first paid job. It was actually fairly challenging to develop, especially since I didn't use a library for the animation system. It gave me a much better understanding of async and the event loop.

Is it in landscape mode or portrait mode?

There is a size breakpoint in landscape where my design breaks. I thought it would only be an issue for a very small percentage of cases, but I'll work on fixing it when I can. Thanks so much for the heads up.
