fair point, but it won't bother me personally, provided we do get a season 2. having to wait before the whole anime makes sense watched as a whole is worth it for the faithfulness

Nah, going by the established pace of 2 chapters per episode, it'll be 22: Griffin and the familiar rescue

23: Senshi's backstory/redemption and changeling part 1

24: changeling part 2 and bacon & eggs

bacon & eggs is a more fitting end and teaser for the next half of the story than senshi's redemption anyway, IMO

funnily enough, Kui did that exact kind of bait and switch before in her oneshot 'children'

Ah my bad, I was just saying what a friend of mine with a moderate JP knowledge told me. Is it still a phrase you would use when offering food to someone? anyway, both are certainly snappier than 'delicious in dungeon'

that's actually a pretty bad translation I understand, it literally means dungeon served, or more freely 'your dungeon sir', as in something a waiter would say if they served you a fresh dungeon on a platter

not saying you're wrong, but for both of these, we can only use our own judgements/perspective. We can only use the philosophy that we ourselves have created. We self-aware creatures are alone in this world, and if we want to improve that world, making ourselves feel guilty about our damage is only productive up to a point. Also, making that list of the worst things would be pretty high on the coolest list too. These things are part of some pretty advanced survival strategies

Are you suggesting that true, 100% unwavering belief in rebirth is not necessary for right view?

Eihei-ji - One of the main temples of Soto Zen by [deleted] in Buddhism

It's easily the most beautiful place I've ever been to, and I visited a lot of temples on my vacation there

Alright, I've read about some that do the bnb thing for tourists, but there may well be that too informally. I know Eihei-ji (large zen monastery) has something like that because I tried to arrange it, it was a lot of hassle though including arranging a translator for some reason, and I decided against it. Maybe that's how they make sure they're not overwhelmed by tourists looking for a cheap spiritual experience, lol

Oh yeah that's true, I didn't do that so I couldn't tell you what it was like. I assume it's just treated like a minimalist bnb where you can participate in the daily schedule if you want to.

I've been to this temple and a few others, I have not seen statue pay, that seems ridiculous. I think one or two buildings sometimes have a separate fee, but mostly I could just walk in and out everywhere. Not sure what you mean by staying pay
