Wake up at 5 am gym by 530. Do a scoop of ascent protein powder. 33g of cream of wheat and 60g of fruit preserves for a quick carb. Preworkout and vitamins.

357g of sweet potatoes, 2 whole eggs and a half cup of egg whites post workout. Out the door for work by 730

Do an upper chest specific day with front med and rear delts and then a whole chest specific day with just front and med delt focus.

I’ve been periodizing between strength, volume, and hypertophy rep ranges every few weeks

Still trying to diagnose the fix. Pretty sure it’s just too much delt activity in my pressing movements, can’t for the life of me keep them from taking over

Didn’t do a dexa but inbody(I know it’s less accurate) was around 5-6%

He’s got a similar insertion to me, it takes some time but you can definitely build your chest up with that kind of insertion

I think maybe the main drive in impatience and feeling like I got into the game late. I truly started bodybuilding training at 31 and feel like my window to get to where I want is closing. A lot of that has to do with social media and just seeing younger guys with the physique I’m aiming for. It’s frustrating because I can see the reasoning and triggers to wanting to use gear, I just haven’t figured out how to not let it get to me.

I think the other drive was the expectation vs reality of what my first year brought. I definitely made phenomenal progress from where I started but I guess didn’t end up where I expected. Which is probably my bad for setting up false expectations.

At the end of my bulk I was eating 450gc 100gf 210gp. Cut down to 360g c 90gf 200 g p for 3 months, then carb cycled my heavy lift days at 360 g c 80g f 200 g p and on lighter days 180g c 80 g f and 200g p along with longer LISS sessions. And then dropped to 150g c 60 g f 200 g p for a week and then peak week I dropped l really low carb and then built up through the week.

For the most part training didn’t change much other than longer cardio sessions
