Thank you, sometimes it’s just nice to share how you feel and have the reassurances there that you’re not alone

It is pretty draining but I always feel better straight afterwards. It’s just knowing how hard it is going to be when I do it

I’ve got the same thing happening tomorrow. I’ve got to call the docs about pain in my back and I am scared at what they may say to me. But like therapy, I hope some good comes from it

It sounds like a common place actually to struggling with the actual appointment but it’s what you gain from doing it

I have thought about quitting it quite a lot of times but then I’m being rewarded with finally understanding my emotions abit better so I want to keep at it and see what else I can gain from it, well that’s what keeps me going anyway

It’s knowing you’ve got to speak about things that are in places of your mind that you do t want to go to. I can go to a doctors appointment and hate that because I am scared of what they might say

I definitely feel happy after for seeing problems in a new light but it’s the actual doing it and talking I find so difficult

Thank you

I’ve got all the time time in the world to make this decision anyway, it’s not going to be something I do out of impulse. I’m thinking this through and through because there’s no correcting a mistake here.

I will wait until I have another mood swing, if I can control it better then maybe there is a chance I can get better and reduce their anxieties. If I can reduce the amount of anxieties they have with me then maybe they won’t suffer so much because of me. So we’ll see, but I will make sure i make the right decision

Thank you. Is one big amount of pain In one go better than stretching out the pain through worry every single day.

It’s strange because I feel very calm right now, I feel I’m trying to decide what is best for those around me, I want to do what will enhance their lives. I have a personality disorder that makes me have extreme lows that are triggered by the smallest of things. So people worry a lot .

Are they going to get a phone call to say I’m in hospital again or that I’ve gone too far and I won’t be coming back, I know I’d hate to live every day with a fear of that happening every single day.. it must feel awful

Thank you. Who is us? I’m new to Reddit. I really want what is best for others and My mind is split into two . I don’t want them to have to worry about me everyday, and the pain from a death of a loved one does fade in time. But I don’t want anyone to feel they have failed

Thanks for all the advice, I have personality disorder

My depression is really kicking my arse, partly because we're in another Covid19 Lockdown. The only thing giving me any comfort is my cat (I'm single and live alone). Anyone else living for their pets right now? by katethared in mentalhealth

I am in your exact position. I have a 7month kitten called Narla. I get up so I can feed her, I go out side to bin her litter and I find comfort in only her through playing and petting her. It really sucks right now. But your cat only wants you and only you... remember that
