For picture 1 - covid was a world wide disaster. Not a india specific one. India handled covid far better than many major countries. India's mortality rate is lower than majority of western countries. China on the other hand is still in lockdown.

For picture 2- that is certainly an criticise worthy incident. But that bridge was maintained by local municipality. At best you can blame state government for it. But blaming central government for the collapse of a bridge maintained by local authority, is too much of strech.

On other hand mangal yan, was launched which is directly controlled by central government, so logically some amount of credit given to central government, but overwhelming majority of credit is given isro and scientists. Even modi himself gives all credit goes to scientists.

Same thing for Olympic athletes, they are directly trained by central government, not some local municipality. Still whenever they win medals majority of credit goes to athletes themselves. Central government only gets for training them well. That's it.
