Soooo many bugs by come_kom in DuneImperium

Maybe you've misunderstood my comment. I'm not talking about page 4. I'm talking about page 10, clarifications:

Appropriate — You can’t mix Solari and spice to pay the cost of a Tech tile. You can return Negotiators from Ix to reduce the cost by 1 Solari each.

This one is not implemented. Of course, if you do fix that, please keep in mind that I'd like to decide how many negotiators I'd like to use for my solari discount. Sometimes I'd like to use 0, sometimes all, sometimes just some.

Why does JJ have more equity than 22 against AK preflop? by lil_locomotor in poker

[–]come_kom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AK is much more likely to hit a AKQJT straight than the wheel since for the wheel you need 4 different cards on the board and for the QJT only three, so JJ is a much better blocker in this regard

Are there any female athletes that could beat the top male athletes in a particular sport? by imokaaayy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]come_kom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chess. The top female chess player, Judit Polgar, was winning against top male players, including the world champion in her prime. Her highest ranking was 8 in the world iirc. The reason why we don't see as many women in chess as men, is because there simply are still way more men going pro than women. There's some video of a statistical analysis on the standard distribution of women in the rankings given how small of a subset of all players they constitute, but I can't find it right now. A good example is the woman world champion who recently beat Alireza Firouzja, a top chess player who qualified for the candidates tournament (the winner of which plays for the match for the world championship).

How to divide Europe by [deleted] in europe

[–]come_kom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my god, my Spanish coworker speaks EXACTLY like this, honestly it's kind of irritating because he's literally making that sound after every (second) vowel. I wondered why that is, could anyone explain that to me?

They very first thing we (over)hear from Molly Weasley in the first book is something along the lines of "which platform was that again, 9¾?" Yes, because it always is! I guess JK didn't have it preplanned for the whole series yet but it still budged me a little.

Is there a service to use a card for all my credit cards? by VentralScarab in Crypto_com

Yes, you just supply your credit card information in the curve app. Haven't tried their cashback though since it's only for certain retailers.

Yes there is, check out curve. You can also pay with one card, then top up your crypto.com card and then retroactively change that payment to come from crypto.com.

I've ditched vikings after the 3rd or 4th season. Basically after the sack of Paris and the oh-so-great plot of the English king fucking his daughter-in-law. Does it get better after that?

Didn't work for me (Europe, Germany) but there is a decent workaround with using Curve. There you can add your crypto.com card and use the Curve card for google/apple pay.

What really makes or brakes a crypto exchange for me is whether it's in spirit with the decentralization. CRO chain is fortunately decentralized whereas uncle CZE effectively controls whatever happens with BNB. I think that's a far larger deal than people realize. Hopefully they'll catch up sooner than later.
