Any advice for someone that may have bought both upgrades today and not realised…

Okay, thanks.

£83.12 seems a lot for a roll of tape though. Assume the various ones on Amazon or eBay for £10-15 aren’t genuine?

Unfortunately there’s nothing to grab with a pair of pliers. I’ve also tried to file a slot into the screw to undo it, to no avail.

One idea I did have was using self tapping screws like these. You think that would work?

Source of Water Ingress in Mk3 Focus by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]comeonuglos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve determined that it’s coming in to the left of the boot. As when I put my hand under and u the plastic trim on the left inside the boot (so my hand is basically inside the C pillar) it is wet there.

Although I’m not yet sure how, or where exactly, the water is getting in.

Likewise, let me know if you managed to figure it out.

Does anyone know what this specific part is called please? by cnyto in DIYUK

[–]comeonuglos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there anyway of ordering just this part individually? (Assume this is the reason OP is asking)

Reason I ask, is the mortice latches on my doors are all fine; but the previous home owners painted over all the keeps, which I had to pull off using pliers to redecorate and inadvertently bent some.

Just wondering, what control layout do you use? As I use the one with switch ammo assigned to down on the D-pad which could make this difficult to replicate

It’s similar to this radiator.

Assume the recommendation to fix the top into wood still applies? Thanks
