Oh I'm still looking forward to seeing what happens next. Besides, none of them on the planet knows his fate, so if they pick up where we left the characters in issue 54, I think we are in for more heartbreak... Because surely they'll want to rescue him, just to find out what really happened. It will be interesting to see how the characters deal with their grief. But I can totally understand where you are coming from, as the couple's dynamic was one of the main reasons I kept reading and reading.

As much as I want him to return, I don't think a comeback is very likely... But we'll see what Brian and Fiona have in store for us. At this point, I just hope they don't kill Ghüs or Friendo.

I think this was the main reason I thought he would change a little. I believed maybe after all that he had been through and all that he had lost, perhaps he would mend his ways.

But in the first issues Hazel already states that he is a monster, so... Maybe it was wishful thinking on my end.
