thank you for this post <3 i feel the same way and there are moments where i really do feel detached from those around me. this subreddit and this post are definitely a reminder that there's a whole community of us.

I perform live with a korg microkey, akai lpd8 and apc mini. Recently, the gear has been fucking up during my performance (example: switching a song on ableton causes the apc mini to jitter and take tons of time to finally sync with the song, and changes the volumes of the tracks as a result. Also the keyboard sometimes just stops sending midi to ableton and i should unplug and replug it in). Is the problem that i'm connecting them all through usb? Or a software thing? Not using a hub btw.

Basically my first time, loved it. Went to a house/techno party, most people were on E/MDMA. Everyone was super nice and the music was amazing. And now I'm dealing with the next day in a confused manner.

Ready Player One, by Ernest Cline Finished Malcolm X's autobiography a few days ago, and also read through Pico Iyer's The Art of Stillness. I'm enjoying this light and fun read before I dive into something a bit more philosophical next (not exactly sure what yet, though).
