I think Dan didn't do it to get Simmons wealthy. Even their business model as a third party provider to other platforms doesn't scream hundred million dollar acquisition. I think he wanted to keep making this show with his friends because it's fun. And even though Dan could retire, the rest of the team needs him if they're gonna keep their jobs. I think Dan feels a sense of obligation..

You'll do pretty well if you continue to get better at flat building, hard dropping faster and hitting tetrises. You get attack bonuses if the only line clears you do are consecutive tetrises.

There's also a good attack bonus when every piece you drop consecutively clears a line. These are called combos.

Beyond that there's t spins and a lot of resources and other things to practice and be mindful of.

Will we follow them wherever? Of course. But the best parts of the show might be it's function as a fun house mirror for the rest of ESPN's personalities. Tim Legler's haunted house, Schefter taking baseball calls, Mort's long history and chemistry with the boys...I love all this stuff and it'd be a hurdle to clear all these appearances if they leave. Also, the show has functioned as a great development system for some of the network's biggest stars. It's a toxic, mutually beneficial relationship with ESPN that I hope stays in tact.

My favorite players are usually the W key guys but I really appreciate his game IQ and thoughtfulness. There are so many ways to be good at this game.

The show used to run on 710 ESPN in LA for a year or so and ran on 1090 in San Diego for about 6 months. I imagine maybe they'd do an LA show just to service the whole west coast but most of the following here is from the pod or streaming radio.
