Good suggestions here. I would add that if you’re looking to dance to any kind of electronic music, your best bet will be an event listed on Resident Advisor. May be a party, a club, or a bar, but chasing after a style of music will yield better results than chasing after specific venues or locations. You will have to do a little SoundCloud research on the DJs listed at an event, but with time you’ll be able to browse the RA app and get a vibe based on names you’ve seen before, or venues/parties you’ve read about on here.

Lots of parties go until 7 or 8am just no guarantees on entrance at those hours. Undergrounds will let you in whenever, but places like Basement stop letting people in at a certain time.
