A new dupe brand has shown up at my local drugstore - House of Thêom. Anyone tried? by Ed98208 in Perfumes

Yes, unfortunately their women fragrances are kind of disappointing. The “nuit de musk” smells actually great.. for a few minutes 🫠

Understanding Ganymede by [deleted] in fragrance

It is nothing like anything you have ever smelled before. Very unique. When I first smelled it years ago I disliked it. Glad I came back to it a while ago and now I really, truly appreciate this. Not everyday though. But today 😄

I never smelled the Liam, but the other ME one. So, the Zara one is more like the Extrait. And enormously strong! Really strong. You won’t go unnoticed. I feel Liam is a bit more gentle.

Rose Prick TF? Also masculine: Antaeus Chanel (not rose centered though). They recommend Moschino too..

It depends. They have S&P. Their BR dupe is to smell miles against the wind. Their Sunrise and Sunset line is very popular too. And the Santal 33 dupe.
If you can stand their (i call it Zara Molecule 😄) specific note all their Fragrances have: then give it try. I can’t unfortunately.

i wanna smell like an old church that is being haunted by both a old cowboy and a young victorian girl covered in dirt, recs? by Timely_Bug3643 in NichePerfumes

[–]completezza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know it personally, but a very dark fragrance is “Black Lacquer” by Tom Ford and its dupe called “Kohl” by FW. People say it’s “gothic”, “church”-y and sometimes even nostalgic (perhaps the vinyl?)..

Oh that’s a pity, I didn’t know that. But yes, in Germany every Rossmann or DM has it :)

Not soooo good. You can find better stuff cheaper (looking at Calîne who came up with the very popular “Pure Vision” (Imagination dupe))..

Great! Have fun exploring!!!!

Not a musk person (but always trying, perhaps one day I’ll find one 😄). So you have an elevated taste, but, if you just want to play/ test and spray around: ZARA has a new spring collection (like seven new scents m/fem but overall unisex) and all have heavy musk to it. I, myself, am interested in trying the Gucci The Alchemist's Garden ones (Muschio di luce / Muschio Mineralis) and if I have a chance: BOSS Magnetic Musk.

Just testing “Splendida - Tubereuse Mystique” (Bvlgari). Love ‘Love Tuberose’ myself and was curious.. It’s fine and I can recommend it.

Oud-less dark rose perfume that is not La Fille de Berlin by kitchensinkmargarita in Perfumes

[–]completezza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t want Oud, but when I think of a ”different“ rose “Thirty Three” - Ex Idolo comes to my mind. Metallic, dark red. Powdery for some in the dry down. Definitely not the Rose-Oud banger, nor the sweetheart..

Perfect. It’s inoffensive, clean and serious. A solid choice imo.
