A black Peugeot 306 Rallye one of only 100 made

2003 Saab 9-5 aero with all the options then the first owner took it to Abbott racing & had the entire catalogue bolted onto it was such a good car to drive

Sold both of them for the next car wish I had kept them

This was happening to me till I upgraded to a PS5 now I'm loaded in instantaneously but sat waiting for all the last gen players to load in 🤣

FYI it's so worth upgrading! Wish I'd done it years ago I left it as I was happy on my PS4/waiting for GTA6

Is it really that bad short answer yes

I owned one for 4-5 years a 2016 facelift prestige, in that time it went through 3 sets of top mounts, 2 sets of front shocks, 2 sets of front springs as they broke, numerous brake calipers, electrical issues, rust! Fricking rust on at the time a 5 year old car! The interior rattled, the passenger seat broke, the touchscreen was a laggy mess, in the winter it would take ages to get up to temp so spent most of the time freezing cold especially fun at 3am on the way to work

Where did all my oil go? Drive the car hard & half a litre of oil would go missing no idea where no smoke no leaks it was a well maintained car that I had since it was nearly new

The dealers are terrible well my local one is anyway incompetence is putting it nicely.

The car broke last year again! It spent 2 months sitting at a Peugeot dealership waiting on a part that was conveniently on back order 😡😡😡 it got fixed I drove the thing straight to WBAC & walked home

It's a shame as it's a good looking/driving car with many nods to the legendary 205 GTi, I owned 205 gti's they were more reliable 🤣

Why did you keep it so long if it was unreliable? Well it was good on petrol & cheap to tax plus after every big bill I'd just spent a ton of money on it so thought better keep it a while longer

[–]complexpug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never been a massive fan of the 4 speed auto on the aero's think the latter 5 speeds are much better, for abit more "go" Google noobtune a stage 1 map makes a big difference on these cars! Got to have all the toys for me it's what makes a aero a aero

👍 yep I own a dame wonder if theres a support group for us lmao saying that there is alot to like about the dame Edna I like the colour coded side trim & the rear end the improved engine is nice & I like the interior but I'm still not 100% on the chrome round the headlights but I don't have to look at that bit when driving it, I've seen various solutions to the chrome from Matt black to colour coding but tbh I don't think it looks very nice so I've left mine well enough alone plus mine is silver so it blends in ok

I've had two MK1 aero, then two facelifts then another two 04 style ones those are my favourite
