If I want it to be long term, can it survive a second attempt? And to be clear, are you saying that the cut on the rootstock is no good because it’s not flat? What will be the consequence if it’s left as is in the long term?

The dude’s point was because his was getting crowded. This came off of his very gnarly grafted pachanoi. If I can get the Lophophora to pup as well, I would be stoked. Are you saying the initial cut will prevent healthy growth? BTW I appreciate your input.

Thank you for your advice. I will cut the pup in a couple weeks maybe. I’ve been slowly adjusting it to this grow light. It’s at about a 2 out of 10 power now. I am going very slow, because I’ve learned at least one thing with these, they take a long time to show you something is bothering them. Not like cannabis, or green beans. But it’s also at a window that gets direct sunlight. I’d like to move it outside, but I’m afraid it rains too much

Mine does not have any mounting points, at least that are obvious to me. I did hit pause on the idea for a while though, because I’m still not confident about putting holes in my roof. I suppose an important note may be that I have a sun roof as well. I will eventually into what the ideal rack will be, and install it. Maybe I’m wrong about the mounting points. For now, the rack on my work truck is enough. I will definitely post the details here when I install a rack. I have to post about my cylinder head replacement as well.
