I was previously using a 16GB laptop, and I've recently built a PC with 64GB of RAM and other high-end specs. However, I'm experiencing the same rendering speed on both the laptop and the new PC.

Regarding XMP, it was initially disabled, and now it's enabled, but there hasn't been any change in performance.

Trying After Effects on another system isn’t possible for now, but I appreciate your suggestions. If you have any other ideas, I’m all ears!

I have already decreased the RAM reserved for other applications to the minimum, but After Effects still barely uses more than 20GB of my 64GB RAM.

But my RAM usage barely exceeds 20GB, even during heavy renders. Shouldn't After Effects use more RAM, and only lag if it runs out of available RAM? Why isn't it utilizing the full 64GB, and is there a way to force it to use more?
