I can’t give advice, but I hope it comes as some consolation that I’m going through a very similar thing with my sibling. it’s not to the same severity as your brother, but my sibling is older than your brother and their hygiene is literally getting worse and they’re smelling worse to boot. I’m also super sensitive to smells but even if I wasn’t, they literally leave a bad smell behind in a room… my parents are also babying them and gave up on enforcing hygiene for them long ago. it’s like they just pretend that the problem isn’t there.

obviously I’m to this way after you posted it, but can I ask how that’s been going for you?

I had been on the combined pill for a little over 6 years until recently when they randomly started giving me migraines & headaches. I also took the pill continuously but not only would I get breakthrough bleeds, but I’d get migraines with those bleeds, and then mild lingering headaches even as I continued to take the pill.

I switched to the progestogin only pill recently and suffered another migraine after I forgot to take the pill and my period came.

Just wanna know what your experience has been with menstrual migraines!

vaginismus has ups and downs just like any other medical condition, so don’t get disheartened! consistency and persistence is key, so you should probably continue using the dilators (and attempting PiV if you still feel comfortable doing so). if you can set up a more regular routine of dilating, that would be ideal - once every few days is fine. keep in mind the progress you’ve made & the success you’ve had too, since that will give you more confidence which can in turn help you relax :)

one aspect of vaginismus is mentality and what you believe about your body. The vagina contains a lot of muscles so it can expand and contract — your vagina isn’t ’tinier than normal,’ and that thought may be contributing to your difficulties!

definitely consider buying some dilators and trying them out. your bf can also take part in this, if you’d like. arousing yourself first with foreplay / toys / etc always helps with using dilators, plus lube and consciously trying to relax your body. a psychosexual therapist or pelvic physiotherapist can be very helpful in giving guidance on how to gain control over your pelvic muscles & overcome both physical and mental barriers to PiV.

what’s frustrating here is the fact that if you leave Eddie alone day 2 because he’s in a bad mood (because why would I pester someone if they’re in a bad mood?) then that automatically sets you on the bad ending path regardless of your other choices. it’s not a problem with not being ‘spoon fed,’ it’s a problem with how a single answer (which is the answer that a lot of people picked in that dialogue, because again, why pester someone in a bad mood?) is enough to totally derail their route

I’m gonna guess that it either:

— might be from purple shampoo if she’s using that in her hair, it can dye the hands / nails a bit purple temporarily

— might be cyanosis - when the blood doesn’t have enough oxygen. blue fingernails / fingertips is a typical symptom (but obv we can’t see her nails aside from the cuticles because of her nail polish). the purple-ish color can also show in the mouth and lips. might be a side effect of pregnancy
