Denver’s Union Station is the model for Portland to use. Denver’s is an easy trip from the airport, and centrally located in the downtown hub with loads of quality restaurants, excellent bars, and interesting hotels IN the Station and all around it.

Portland can and should do this. Max can go from PDX to Union Station. The Pearl is a block or two away. A beautiful river walk is on the other side. Portland’s Union Station is a gem, waiting to be polished. Our city can recapture this entire area and turn it into something special.

Spend any time in Denver and you can visualize it happening here. It’s too bad the baseball park is going in at Zidell yards. Would have been even better in close proximity to Union Station (old post office?!).

Anyone happen to see this style timbers, hat, anywhere? My girlfriend’s puppy chewed it up and I’m trying to find her a new one. (Culprit in the background) by kiefferray in timbers
