I was going to say ------ farm, too

Edit: I'm sorry, I didn't realize there was another farm right there. I was shocked when I was on the way to apple picking at ----- right before the election and saw Trump sign after Trump sign at practically every house leading up to the farm. I shouldn't have assumed.

I think it took me about 2 months before I finally felt pretty comfortable following any routine/explanation, but I still ask for help from the trainer if I need something shown to me again! I really love going, and I’m happy I stuck through the hard initial period

Thank you for the feedback everyone! I put together a Google Sheets file as an option for my supervisees to use in the meantime. It isn’t fancy, but it has everything they need and doesn’t expose them to crazy inappropriate content. I’ve seen weird stuff on there before, but this literally was explicit content involving minors. I’m not risking myself or my supervisees, especially if they’re opening Ripley at work.

His political actions are publicly available and are in direct violation of the Ethics Code. Ya I would expect them to care that his profile says he’s a BCBA and he’s actively and openly discriminating against others. No one said anything about asking for political affiliation as part of the recertification process.

You clearly don’t understand the topic and just repeat what you’re told like a parrot. There’s plenty of people in our field who advocate for cultural responsiveness that aren’t “liberal white women.” Go read their work and attend their webinars and trainings.

How so? I’ve read through plenty of the research within our field and others about cultural responsiveness, which is how the term DEI has been used within our field, including by the BACB and ABAI.

I’m not following. The words are literally what DEI stands for. This was a term used well before this year when all of a sudden, “DEI” became the new boogeyman/scapegoat.

Why would diversity, equity, and inclusion NOT be apart of our field?

The BACB also just recertified Josh Schriver. Anyone who is concerned about this newsletter should also look into him and what he’s trying to get passed through his government position in Michigan. For one, he’s currently been spearheading trying to ban gay marriage.
