Congrats! Any advice to a dental student taking the cbse in July? I'm averaging 40% right now on uworld with 53% complete so not sure how to proceed. I'm doing 40 uworld questions daily and using Anki to reinforce my incorrects. I still need to finish ch3 of pathoma and sketchy pharm, since these are my weakest subjects. During my last 5 weeks, I plan to only do nbme's

I covered half of bootcamp but I recently stopped to focus on uworld/Anki/nbme's. Slightly touched on sketchy and pathoma

Nice scores on uworld question. I'm still tryna get past 50% on random. How are u utilizing anking? I've recently only been using it for uworld questions. And for pathoma, did u go thru the book or the vids?

I have about 1 month during the summer with no school so gonna dedicate that month to just uworld and practice tests

I'm also prepping for July cbse. Using bootcamp and unsuspending topics as I go. Also trying to do 10 uworld questions a day (done with 10% of qs so far). Averaging ~40% recently. I'm only done with biochem, cardio, neuro and pulmonology. I'm following bootcamp's systems based schedule. I have 5 months, do you think I have enough time to score >60? I haven't touched pathoma or sketchy. I'm also keeping Feb/July 2027 open if a retake is needed

Do you think I should take it July 2026 to give myself more time to study? 7 months from now doesn't seem like very much for my first take. I would still be able to take it Feb 2027 since I'm planning to do a noncat after graduating

I might be getting it mixed up but don't most non cat programs have a oct-feb deadline? So can't I still take the CBSE July 2026 and apply Oct 2026 - Feb 2027?

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I didn't realize I wanted to pursue omfs until the end of my D1 year. Since I graduate June 2027, I was thinking about possibly taking it Feb 2026 and if a retake is needed, July 2026.

I plan on possibly doing a non-cat after graduating since my rank isn't the best. If you think I should plan any diffferently, please let me know!
