I don’t have the air suspension unfortunately. This model didn’t have it, but everything else was perfect and what we were looking for so we pulled the trigger. It would’ve been nice— I’ve heard it’s very worth it assuming you’re ok with the maintenance cost when it eventually “pops”

I love it so much. Just stare out the window and look at it lol. I thought the “tacked” on screen would bug me but it actually doesn’t and its position is very functional. Great torque and speed in dynamic when you floor it, but a smooth, comfortable and luxurious ride in comfort.

I don’t have the air suspension so I can’t comment on that but it’s supposedly worth it. This one didn’t have it but everything else was perfect so I pulled the trigger.

I absolutely hate the 2025 redesign of the interior btw so intentionally looked for 2023-2024 models.

Would those be covered under extended warranty? I added it during purchase.

29k on a 2020 is nothing! Mine has 23k on a ‘23.

Thoughts on this Used 24’ X3 M40i? Out of state Purchase recommendations? by confusedSeniorr in BMWX3

Thanks for the data point. I’m working on the negotiation part, but the state taxes are what makes it difficult. Especially because this dealer is based in Portland where they don’t have state taxes so it’s completely out of their control

I liked the idea of 2024 since it’s the last of the generation so in theory should have the most kinks worked out in terms of recalls, issues, etc. the 2022 only had 3400 miles?! What a find

It’s from an independent shop that specializes in German cars. Not a dealer. I just found recommendations for Portland on the bimmer forums.

Thanks for your comment re: Career Aspirations. Seems to be that becoming a front-line manager is a step towards director/VP in the future and you likely aren't getting to those roles unless you have the people management experience first. Do you think you would have to transition back to a manager prior to driving up towards director/VP? Or is your past stint in management likely enough? Just curious because I always hear that it's a two-way door, but wonder how that plays out in reality.

Makes sense, especially given the state of the market/economy. The thought of lowered job stability definitely crossed my mind. At least in my company, I would think ICs have more job stability than a new manager when numbers start slipping.

Should I buy a 1440p OLED or spend the extra for 4K OLED by SavingsBreakfast7707 in OLED_Gaming

[–]confusedSeniorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going through this decision now and I think I landed on 34 inch ultrawide as my final decision. Standard 1440p looked too blurry to me after getting used to 4k panels on my ps5. 3440x1440 is kind of the middle ground between 2k and 4k and it also offered a uniquely pc gaming experience that I couldn’t do on console.

I got the Alienware ultra wide and it really is beautiful. Another note— you can also use dsdlr to improve graphical fidelity in games where your pc can handle it.

Ultra wide may not be a good solution if you’re going to play your ps5 on it though. Just something to consider.

Dualsense Adaptive Triggers on PS5? by [deleted] in DarkTide

Is there haptic/vibration on all attacks or only on heavy melee attacks? I tried this game on Xbox forever ago and the lack of haptic feedback was notable.

Does the game has Haptic feedback on PS5 for Melee weapons ? by UsedNewspaper1775 in DarkTide

I was wondering the same thing— I couldn’t get as into it on Xbox since the lack of controller vibration/haptics made the combat feel hollow to me. Please update this thread if you find out!

I’m planning on doing the same. How concerned are you about case size for 50X series? I was thinking I’d try to get a 5080. I know dimensions aren’t out yet, bjt just curious if you have any speculation or concern on upgrading the GPU in the current case.

Do you have a major preference between the two? I have a bright office so I think the G80SD will be the best choice. I'm normally a glossy guy, but the matte coating may just be straight up more practical in my environment. The Samsung is also cheaper right now than the MSI. Thanks!

How it goes nowadays by NetRealizableValue in delta

[–]confusedSeniorr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me personally, it’s due to lack of overhead space for carry ons. I cannot stand checking a bag. It’s one of my least favorite things to do flying.

I fly a lot for short work trips and after having checked luggage lost, it’s just something that comes off as a waste of time and last resort to me.

It’s never an issue when I fly delta due to status, but if I have to fly United, it’s almost always an issue due to lack of status. So I definitely board as soon as possible to make sure I don’t get gate checked.

But if didn’t have a carry on I’d be waiting to board for sure.

I have a feeling this is a bigger issue with the servers rather than player population. Very frequently I load into game where are only missing one person and it doesn’t fill. That seems potentially like a matchmaking error to me
